Good morning, everybody!

The holiday party was fun. The Museum of Science and Industry was a good venue. They have an exhibit of Christmas trees from around the world, plus the regular exhibits, like transportation and weather were open to browse around. One of my co-workers was thrilled to see the model train exhibit that he used to visit as a child.

For food they had three concepts: American, Greek and Mexican. The Greek was the best (Greek salad, Spanikopita and Gyros), and I ran out of space before I made it to the Mexican. I did not win the raffle.

But the crowd was huge. We had two signature drinks, Champagne ****tail and Manhattans for sale that benefitted a charity. But the line was just too much. So I had a glass of wine from the free bar.

I will post pictures on Friday.

QOTD: I'm going to go with a no. Although not a city person, per se, I have seen them enough in their urban environment to be out.

Breakfast: Egg sandwich

Lunch: Work meeting, just hoping no mayonnaise so that I can eat something

Dinner: Hello Fresh (I think its Flautas)

Have a great day, all!

For any type of meeting/catering event I don't know why they ever put mayonnaise on anything. It should be optional.

Good mornin everyone.

Yesterday ended up being rather awful and very stressful. My SIL's account, well one of them, had been hacked at her bank. The one she wrote a check to my mom on. So yeah it bounced. Thank the Lord my mom's back up account had enough to cover the whole check. Yesterday was also my niece Riley's 10th birthday.

There was good yesterday too. I spoke up and already have a new provider at my psychiatric clinic. I won't meet her until February. I a.so got a few things done like mailing a few things and finishing a pendant inside for my friend. She wants to connect it to a large ring so she'll fini****

Today will be busy as my mom is wanting to do a few things. I need to work on a couple of earring and pendant sets fo a friend and get them mailed by Friday.

QOTD: ummm I don't really love them but I respect them. If that makes sense? They've unwillingly contributed to a lot of medical break throughs while being used in research. They are can be cute as pets but when they live the rat style life they look pretty haggard and kind of icky.

food is terribly unplanned today.

There definitely has been a spike in successful hacking lately; I know a few people that have had that happen in the last month -- including a friend with a small business who's customer were contacted and given a "replacement" ACH. Fortunately they caught it but the evil people are so sophisticated these days. If only they would use their powers for good, they could probably accomplish a lot.
