I woke up once during colonoscopy. That was a horrible experience. But most time EGD - I slept through it.
Now I get them at the same time, Colonoscopy and EGD, and they give me anesthesia. My gastro told me that he had too many patients being aware during colonoscopy or EGD so now he only used anesthesia, not twilight sedation. Some people are OK with being semi -aware, but most hate that and/or get traumatized.

I did not like it one bit during the EGD but a colonoscopy? NOOOOO! I have mine next month. I wish I could have combined them - I didn't even know it was possible.

Good morning everybody!
Thinking of Amy and Kelly today.
The computer is particularly slow this morning, so after 20 minutes of spinning pinwheels, I gave up and did a phone post.
No calls with Asia last night but another busy day. I am tired and ready for the weekend. At about 11:00, I take Marilyn to the airport so that she can drive my youngest home tonight and tomorrow. We have our work Christmas party tomorrow night. Other than that CrossFit, reading some retirement stuff and some shopping.
Pictures are from the race last week. In the before picture I was too cold to strike any particularly flattering pose, so it's just me standing in the cold. The after pic is self explanatory (although I don't appear to be wearing my antlers correctly)
QOTD: My mother. I think elderly people are the hardest in general.
Breakfast: quiche
lunch: Roast beef
dinner: last of the Kielbasa and pierogies
have a great day, all!
