What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
on 12/9/22 3:09 am
Morning all! Deja vu all over again. Too busy... papers... cookies... ahhh... repeat. The only fun new twist on today was that I woke up to the cat knocking over the water fountain. Fun.
Cookies! First up 9 dozen cookies for an Econ Professor. And of course, some fun Christmas ones.
QOTD: Who is the hardest person to shop for on your list? My dad is a killer for me. He really only ever liked getting books as a present, but he lost his vision a few years ago. So then I switched over to "experiences" like plays and concerts, but COVID put a big damper in that! So glad I could get him tickets to something again this year. Phew!
B: egg bites
L: chicken breast
D: veggie burger

Good morning and happy Friday! Yay, weekend here we come!
Some good meetings today and then I have about 3 hours worth of presenting over two days next week so I think I might start working on the presentation but may also do that on Tuesday on the plane; I have most of it in my head so just need to get it on paper. With travel and strategy sessions T-TH, my monday and friday next week will be meeting chaos but then things will taper off after the 16th...because we're essentially at Christmas at the point!
On the home front, today I just need to wrap some presents and pack them so tomorrow I can get them shipped and then tomorrow it's shipping, liquor store for some gift bottles and a holiday party Saturday night. Sunday if my BFF is out of the ICU, I will go down to visit her; if not, just house cleaning and random type stuff.
QOTD - no one really, I pride myself on my gift giving and am known for finding the right gift....this year I'm not feeling christmas so that is making it harder though but that's me, not a recipient!
Menu today
coffee plus half and half X 2
Gouda plus triscuits
last of the chicken breast and naan
tbd on dinner
heading downstairs for a pilates session as soon as I finish my coffee so that will be my workout
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
Before on the front yard
After on the front yard ( they won't plant until spring so this is just the hardscape portion)
Christmas in the front yard
And then a bit of a photo dump from my mountain trip last weekend. The ski runs you see on the one mountain are Winter Park/MaryJane. It was all colder than it looked.

Ahh...my brain was telling me Strongbad and I knew that was wrong. Your yard looks great! And like it was a lot of work.
