I also use the Pure Encapsulation brand for some of my items.
In there - the K2 Mk-4 is 1,000 mcg - that's 1 mg. I take 15 mg.

BTW: you want to take the fat soluble dry vitamins away from fat. Even though its formulated to be water soluble, it can be affected by fat, and since you malabsorb more fat than RNY do, getting the fat soluble away from fat is a good idea.

SADI- similar to DS need more fat to allow for easy BM. Plus more fat in general. ugh.
I made a huge mistake after my RNY that I avoided fat as they told me to. I lost my GB because of that. Bu****er under the bridge, no?

You, as SADI need to monitor your own labs. Make a spreadsheet for that and see - follow the trends. Critical. You can't relay on docs. For them is below normal or normal. They don't feel what you feel. I suffered for a close to a year because I was told my numbers were "normal" and they did not understood why I was feeling so horrible... Eventually I was able to get a referral and I saw a hematologist for iron infusions and endocrinologist for feeling half-alive.
Many of my numbers were normal but borderline normal. If I listen to docs, I probably would be dead or disabled today, with nerve damaged, and hormonal issues (I have adrenal insufficiency).

Good morning!! Good luck on your papers and focus today, QJB! What is harvest Chili?

So, I have my trainer this evening and I will have to shovel snow a couple times today so I thought "I'll just do this "short and sweet" rowing program which will be a nice start to the day.....it was short, but not my idea of sweet!! It was 10 intervals of "as fast as you can possibly go"....I did get my 500M split down to 1:49 and up to 37 strokes a minute....and I didn't puke so those are good things. And since I was in the basement, I brought up my tree, set it up and plugged it in so now I"m enjoying coffee #2 by the glow of twinkly lights.

The landscaper had an emergency (I'm assuming someone didn't winterize their sprinkler and got a big surprise when they got home from the holiday) so he rescheduled for this morning....but we're getting a lot of snow so I expect that to reschedule again; my trainer and I are set for a virtual session if it is too bad so ready there. I'm going to test out my new "ready for the arctic in the winter" thermals and socks with my warmest boots. There's a bit of a difference between Antarctic summer and Arctic winter, lol.

QOTD - I did get my holiday gifts for my direct reports and a good deal on an iPad for a gift. My best score for myself was the hin****er cyber monday sale, so I am lame.

menu today

coffee plus half and half X2

not sure about breakfast, after that workout, I don't feel like I want to eat...but maybe a yogurt later

lunch is ever roast and slice cheddar

dinner salami and some cheese, I have 2 really really sharp ones that I picked up over the weekend...they are so sharp I can only do a small piece at a time, which is delightful!

Have a terrific Tuesday everyone!

One was Big McKinley Clothbound Cheddar and the other was called Provolone Mandarone Vernengo -- I bought them at one of the local cheese shops, along with my absolute favorite Prima Donna Gouda...but I bought that for the weekend so am resisting it's siren call.
