What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
Good morning! I really wanted to sleep in tucked in my electric blanket heated bed this morning, but no, my brain would not shut up so I might as well get up and greet the day. And here I am. I was 100% on food and beverage yesterday. I really struggled with wanting a glass of wine last night. Only the memory of the stomach pains held me off. I am aiming to make it until Thanksgiving on all zero calorie drinks. We shall see if I can hit that goal. I wish I didn't like the taste, the feel, the "ceremony" of it all so much. Nothing like swirling my wine around the glass and sipping while I cook dinner. Work in progress. We completed the stairs yesterday, and I took the long way home to get in moving minutes, while Roger took the short way home so he could clean up to get his flu shot. We can both officially check that off our lists.
My yoga class is paused for next week, then one more week on, then paused until the end of the year. I need to locate a class I am willing to pay for this weekend. Today, I have a class queued up on Youtube and I hope to do a stretching class after that. My muscles are definitely tight and sore. Since we have zero plans real plans for today, I am thinking of taking a walk after I cool down from the sessions. I do love the sun on my face, music in my ears and moving. I also need to do the taxes for the Foundation. Super easy, post card requirements, but I've been avoiding that. But the liability insurance is due today so I have to break out the books, I might as well get it done. Exciting day.
QoTD: I can't think of much right now other than these new HIIT classes. I'm big on the fear of the unknown.
Menu:
B: left over chicken and cottage cheese
L: left over Chipotle's chicken bowl, no rice, all black beans.
D: Trying something new, Turkey Butternut Squash skillet
Need to also through together a breakfast quiche so I can use up the ingredients. Then Rog and eat from it for the next few days.
Photos today!
First is as seen on my walk the other day and the second is why the dogs come running every time I crack open the cottage cheese. There is always a good chance it's the end of the tub and then Mom shares!
Peace Everybody. Have a wonderful weekend!
