Lol, I already have a different set for coal all done!

Maybe I can make the "nice list" Santa image with my new edible printer! Ohh!

Also, my chaffles were delish! 10/10 recommend :)

Chaffles! Have seen recipes for this but don't own a waffle gadget. Good enough to be worth one?

those mini waffle makers are pretty cheap - $10-15 or so. I think I paid $10 for mine three or four years ago.

You don't have to have the gadget, make them the same way you would a pancake -- they won't be quite a crispy but you can give it a try and then decide on the gadget. The dash single waffle maker is perfect sized and inexpensive

Yes they are worth it but if you have any waffle maker it will work. The little ones just look cute.

Phew. Took a very brisk walk on my lunch break today. Managed to get in about two miles but it's 35 degrees. My eyes were watering, nose running, cheeks and thighs numb. You're so much smarter. :)

You said Popeyes turkey? Like...the restaurant chain?

Yes, the fast food Popeyeys sells a precooked Cajun turkey, and it is frozen. You just got to thaw it and heat it up. I think I am a pretty good cook and have done many turkeys in my day, but this is better than anyone I ever had. I also boil down the carcass and it makes a great broth.

I'm with you on the Thanksgiving thing, I don't eat turkey and my Mom hates to cook these days so neither one of us cook for Thanksgiving. We used to go out for dinner but her mobility is very limited now so I'm going to order delivery.

My furnace and A/C will be installed on Thursday-Friday and possibly Monday. The other place I was talking to said they were booked through March so I count myself lucky. I will not miss the space heater or portable A/C units. Sadly I'm currently wearing my new wind/rain pants indoors. They keep me really warm.

I need to go grocery shopping today, but I'm not really feeling it. I just need a few things so I'll make myself go. It's cold and clear so maybe I can get a walk in this afternoon.

I ran out of milk so I used the macadamia milk I use to use all the time, and it taste weird to me now. I've been using Fairlife for my mocha since it is so much higher in protein.

I need to get to work. Have a great day everyone!
