What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Good morning, everybody!
Well me and Chrissy really were twinning yesterday. Not only did we share parent problems in the morning, but Marilyn texted me in the afternoon that one of our ho****er heaters was broken and needed to be replaced on Thursday. Just please don't injure us today Chrissy.
My trip to Florida was cancelled because of the possibility that Orlando airport may close down today and/or tomorrow. With all proper consideration for those in the path of the storm, I am ecstatic to stay home. Sleep in my bed, go to Crossfit, eat simple, and stay out of the Wine Bar? Yes. I am still going to Waco on Friday afternoon but that is a quick 48 hour trip. One short work trip during the middle of next week and I am done traveling for the year.
The usual crowd is already saying "since we aren't going to Orlando we can go into the office Thursday..." Umm, Nope.
Has anyone talked to Lisa?, I haven't seen her around for a few days.
QOTD: Assuming that I can't steal an extra half hour of Life by Listening to Grateful Dead Europe 72 in its entirety, I am going to go with Rolling Stones, Let it Bleed.
Breakfast: Egg Sandwich
Lunch: Roast Beef
Dinner: Hamburgers
Have a great day, all!

Lisa went out of town for a few days and should be back soon. Yay for avoiding a trip into a storm and treasured home routines.

Sounds like your office leadership and my office leadership know each other. I vote they all get together and work in the office so the rest of us can work from home. :)
Sorry to hear about your water heater. Those things aren't cheap.

Mary said the only ones who want to go back to the office are people who jus****ch others work.

I'd agree with that. Often people with teams want that visual verification that others are working. And it's people with hard-walled offices who think that an open office concept is a good idea to foster all of that collaboration. :)

Good Morning! JB- so glad your day was great. Well, my appt didn't go great and now he wants to do an MRI so it'll be another 3 weeks before I know more. In general he is pleased with the improvement with the tendon but he is concerned that there is some bone protrusion (?) and that it's still tender to the touch.
I've been meaning to ask if anyone has tried Prime hydration drinks? Em had me try them when we were on vacation and the Ice pop one tastes like a melted red/white/blue popsicle-so good.
QOTD: I'm torn, Kenny G is what first came to mind so I'll go with that.
