Mornin' All!

ugh - I need to watch my sodium intake today since I'm up 2 lbs from two days ago. Since calories have been fine the last few days, it's water (even if calories WEREN'T fine, it'd still be mostly water). Should have skipped the sushi (lunch) and street tacos (dinner) yesterday, I guess...

It's supposed to be rainy and windy today, so that limits what I can do. Meeting a friend for coffee at 9:00 am. Some kind of reception at the UW for legacy people this evening (it's indoors). Otherwise?? Might be a good day to get caught up with stuff. I'm still really behind on classes. And reading. And I should get some exercise again today, too - maybe a Zumba class or a youtube video.

QOTD: I'm on my laptop WAY too mu*****luding late in the evening. I know they recommend getting off electronics an hour or two before you go to bed, and I've tried that, but it's too tempting to get back on. I start getting tired around 11:00, though, and usually fall asleep somewhere between 11:00 and midnight.

B: plain skyr with fruit, coffee with half & half

MS: I'll be at the coffee place with my friend. I'll either get more coffee or else a latte with 2% milk and SF syrup

L: salad with chicken breast and light dressing

AS: protein shake or protein muffin (??)

D: I'll skip it because of the reception - there will undoubtedly be lots of food there. Hopefully some good choices ("legacy" usually means older people - so I would guess they'll have some healthy options!)

spotted this sign yesterday when I was sitting in heavy traffic (road construction - UGH!). It was funnier yesterday than it is this morning. Maybe I just needed comic relief while sitting there in my car not moving for what seemed like forever...

QOTD- I watch TV until 8:30-9:30 and then I go to bed and read in my tablet until I get sleepy.

I got a call from a recruiter yesterday, I got an email and I said I was interested. I have all of the qualifications, it would be a permanent position-not contract with benefits, 401K and PTO. It's what I have been looking for. It's also totally remote. I need to come up with some references.

Had a Zoom call with my counselor and it did help.

It's windy and rainy and supposed to stay that way all weekend. I may just put on my rain gear and brave the elements to get outside for awhile. I also need to do a Costco run and grocery store. My roommate was kind enough to remove all of the leftover candy so that is no longer a temptation. He took it all too work yeah!!!

I've got lots of work so I'd better get to it.

Have a great day everyone!
