What's on your Tuesday Menu?

I became a lifetime Weigh****cher member in 1973. Back then we were told not to exercise as it could build muscle and muscle weighed more than fat. The world has changed. It is possible to lose without exercise, but I believe impossible to maintain without moving your body.

Happy Tuesday. I love the QOTD today and Jen's no excuse November. It's the motivation I need.

QOTD- Log everything you put into your mouth. I weighed and measured everything! I need to get back to that! I also did not drink any alcohol the first two years.

We didn't have any trick or treaters. We never do. My husband asked me if I was going to grab some candy for just in case. I said no, if we get one I'll just give them a chomps beef stick.
It's rainy here in the PNW. I am determined to get into a good exercise and diet routine. I also would like to read more books.

food plan for today-

Cold brew with protein shake.

2 boiled eggs

chicken fajita meat with peppers and onions

protein jello

lots of water and vitamins/ elliptical for exercise and arm workout.

Have a great day! Be kind to yourself.

Oh yes, logging and measuring your food. I still try to do that everyday.

Good Morning! That meme is all too real in my world. Yesterday went by pretty quickly trying to catch up a bit and today starts the payroll chaos for the team. I don't handle too many of the process now but have to be ready to jump in and support when needed.

Mornin' All!

it'll be a warm, beautiful day with nothing on the agenda other than an in-person class from 4:00-5:15, so I'll take a long bike ride that'll end up on campus. I won't be able to bike to class after this week (time change this weekend - I don't ride in the dark - plus colder weather on the horizon), so I'll make the most of it this week!

I haven't stepped on the scale because I'm afraid to. I'm feeling very bloated and awful. But tomorrow is my official weigh-day, so I have no choice. I like the idea of a no excuses November, so I'll join you guys. There's really nothing in the way of "eating events" on my calendar until Thanksgiving (other than my niece's b-day dinner on Thursday - she wants to go to a Mexican place, so I can get a street taco), so this honestly shouldn't be all that difficult. I'll keep my fridge stocked with safe things like raw veggies and dip and SF Jello in case I start to stray....

re: Halloween - DH and I went out for a walk last night. Even though, as I said yesterday, our block is full of mostly childless (or currently child-free) old fogies and we've never gotten very many, if any, kids, there seemed to be a lot of them out when we got a block or two away. Maybe our block ended up getting a lot, too (??). Weird. Evidently we've had more young families move into the neighborhood. Or the parents are driving them over from other neighborhoods.

B: cheesecake-flavored yogurt pie with berries. Coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: salad with chicken breast and light dressing

AS: protein muffin

D: egg roll in a bowl

have a great day, everyone!

whoops - forgot the QOTD. I guess it would have to be joining OH. I'm not sure if anyone ever specifically recommended it or not, but I remember it being listed as a resource in our clinic's binder for pre-ops. I'm so glad I joined!

Good Morning QJB and Menuers,

Glad you got rid of the Candy QJB. We were not so lucky. I only bought a giant bag of 4 flavor M&M's and I bet there is more than half the bag left. I was giving 4 and 5 bags out at a time but still did not make a dent. We did get some pretty cute little ones come to the door. I bet less than 5 were actually teenagers. And the Teenagers that did show up were kids we knew who wanted to see us. It was super nice.

Remember how I was so excited about my new TV coming Friday? Yeah, it showed up damaged, so I am back waiting. Also, my excitement over DH fixing the Freezer is now over. It's on the fritz again so were back to needing to get a new freezer as well. UGH.

QOTD: The best advice was getting on a hydration schedule not allowing myself to eat another meal till I got down 20 oz of water down. That actually has stuck till this day.

Accountability: 1 Fun sized Reese's with the neighbor.

TSS: 4 years 10 months 21 days 159.6 LBS, (Lowest 129.4)

B: Coffee with Coffee Mate SF chocolate caramel creamer

MS: Oikos tripe zero salted caramel Geek yogurt. Berries

L: Mississippi pot roast, snack select

D: Chicken salad

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use Miralax and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

Have a great day my friends.

Brightest Blessings.
