What's on your Monday Menu?
on 10/31/22 9:10 am
Good morning ~ I had a nice weekend though my activity did not go as planned - didn't feel well off and on. We all are injured and sore from moving the Vault to the gym room. It's an awkward beast that weighs a ton. I had to YouTube how to open the dang thing so I could get to the parts and directions. It is very clear why they named it the Vault. It will take a few more days to finish still but I am so excited! I had a hard time sleeping last night - tossing and turning about work so I chose to sleep in this morning. It's time to get organized - lots on my mind and lots to do.
QOTD - Halloween plans - our neighborhood is pretty quiet but we do get a few. Rob bought his favorite candy mix and there will be leftovers- I haven't touched them so far. I'd love to watch a Halloween movie, but it may be Monday night football instead.
Yesterday:
b- coffee, eggs, cheese, green chilis
l - 6 beef lil' smokies w/BBQ sauce, a few chips with 7 layer dip
d - grilled chicken and Greek salad
s- Quest chocolate caramel mini bar
+wine
Activity - logged 25 active minutes walking and hustling
Have a great day!

hi all
no plans today.
I did my shaky plate this morning before I posted. I have actually logged my food today and we have a roast in the crockpot for dinner. I will have some sort of veggies with mine.
QOTD: no plans and I've bought no candy. It's likely to get bears visitors before tiny human visitors. I saw 4 together the other day right next door. it was insane. bears not tiny humans.
Food
b: coffee, coffee overnight oats with protein powder and flax
s: babybel with egg whites with 20 calorie cracker
l: ham and wasa cracker
d: pot roast with some type of veggie
1/2 my water is done yay
So nice to see so many familiar people on here still!!! I miss you but every day seems to be overly busy. I do post on a small VSG maintenance thread daily but don't get much further...
I can't even remember when I last posted! This year was eventful: I traveled January-March, got married along the way in Key West, sold my Florida west coast home in April and officially moved all my Florida personal items to Mike's (my DH) Florida east coast home, had a wedding celebration event in August, and have been back in Florida since September.
Weight isn't great but not terrible. My VSG seems to keep me maintaining at the very top of normal BMI. Though I wish I were thinner as I was for most of the first 5 years after WLS, I am okay with it. I'm more curvy, but not unhealthy. Speaking of which, I have been learning to golf, played in the fall bocce league, am taking water aerobics and yoga, and walk approximately 3 miles a day with DH and Justice my chihuahua. I still battle with HBP (as I have since my late 40's) and take a cornucopia of medications for it these days though my cardiologist considers me pretty healthy.
QOTD: We don't celebrate Halloween- we are in a community of all adults (though there are no age restrictions). Good thing is no candy in the house!
B: small amount of cottage cheese
L: leftover chicken piccata (small piece)
D: Food truck at our clubhouse: probably vegetarian egg rolls and rice
S: SF pudding

It?s great to see you, Liz and congratulations on the wedding!
I don?t know if you caught it, but Mershmellow posted on the main board a couple of months ago. It sounds like she is doing better.
