What's on your Thursday Menu?

Hey gang, Happy Little-Friday. What's the plan today?
I'm here with a new commitment. I saw some pics of myself yesterday and... yeah, it's time to buckle down. I struggle with all-or-nothing thinking and my first inclination was to jump in and do everything right. But I know it isn't sustainable. So on advice from PartlyPollyanna, I am making public commitments to a few things that I promise to keep to for a few weeks at a time.
- I will not post on OH until after I exercise. No exercise = no post. That should keep me honest with y'all.
- Calories under 900/day
- Extending my sober month
Today is my last day off before the new semester. I had hoped to have a fun adventure day up in NH or ME but Grim has to stay home and wait for a package that needs a signature, so maybe I can just drag him for a fall walk close to home? Other than that--more baking. Sigh.
B: Costco Egg Bites
L: Veggie Burger & Shredded Cheese
D: Fish Fillets
Exercise: I did a nice slow 1 mile WOG on the treadmill this morning

Yay for Jr. Friday...but I spent most of yesterday convinced it was already Thursday so, sigh.
Good job on picking a few things to focus on and congratulations on the exercise -- that tie of exercise to post is a great one!
I woke up really early this morning so I've already gotten a fantastic HIIT Rowing and Core workout in, it's a 6 class series so I started it yesterday with a goal of finishing it Monday, really putting the bow on my renewed exercise commitment. I've also had all the coffee, done all my morning games, plus an hour of emails, showered and dressed!
I have several one on ones this morning, then my final round of PT, and then more meetings but tonight I'm doing a virtual bookclub zoom with Jenny Lawson (Furiously Happy). She opened a bookstore a few years ago and periodically does book discussions with other authors and this one should be good.
Menu today is
coffee plus half and half, possibly with a 3rd cup
yogurt and pb
the last of the yummy chicken
tbd on dinner
Have a terrific Thursday everyone!

You are too funny....the part no one sees is that by 4pm, I am "how early is too early for bed" "do I really have to wait until it's full dark? I mean, I have blackout blinds"

Good morning, everybody!
Yesterday's post on living vs. working really hit on a lot of things that I have been going through lately. How much is a year of freedom worth? Does it make sense to keep working to just provide a larger legacy to children? I appreciated reading your thoughts.
Yesterday's Happy Hour consisted of just me and Marilyn drinking wine on the couch. But I think that we were happy.
I didn't see a QOTD, but if somebody adds one I will circle back later.
My flight tomorrow is pretty early, so I will probably just do a quick post from the airport. Tonight I need to pack
Breakfast: Frittata
Lunch: Turkey
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!
