What's on your Saturday menu?

If only that were true! I've already made breakfast biscuits for me to put up in the freezer. They turned out really well even though I forgot we were out of onions. I put some granulated onion in it and it's rather tasty.

Not a lot planned. Probably groceries today or maybe tomorrow morning. I'm tired and so wish I could live that meme.

QOTD: What dog or cat breed do you think you are most like?

Someone asked me this and I'm not sure. I'd guess Maine Coon for a cat and mutt for a dog!

B: Breakfast biscuits & coffee

L: leftover tilapia and Brussels sprouts

D: ???

S: popcorn, jerky and ???

Have a great weekend everyone!

Mornin' Weekenders!

I'm heading for Iowa in about an hour to meet up with a (first) cousin who lives in Des Moines - we're meeting roughly in the middle at an Algerian restaurant (in a small town - surprised they have a Algerian restaurant - I'm guessing the owners are from Algeria??). I'll be home sometime this evening...

QOTD: a mutt either way!

B: protein oatmeal topped with skyr and fruit. Coffee with half & half.

MS: will probably take a protein shake with me to drink in the car

L: either chicken b'stilla or the vegetarian tagine (just checked the menu for this place - they have American food as well, of course)

AS: probably nothing

D: if I'm home, probably leftovers

have a great day, everyone!

Evening everyone!

I've made it to Pennsylvania so far and am posting while the dogs frolic. Not bad for a day. I plan to be in Maine in the morning. And...I forgot my hoodie. I'm also too stubborn to spend $35 on one at the gas stations, so yay for burning calories in the cold.

QOTD - super mutt for sure!

Accountability- good! I did trade my tuna for the insides of an Arby's Greek gyro sandwich. I was excited for something warm. And the lettuce and tomato now that I can eat some raw stuff again. Couldn't fini**** and shared with the dogs. I do feel over full now though and had a moment when I learned over to feed the dogs. I assume if my stomach ruptured, it would be...unmistakable. reminder to eat slowly even when I'm trying to get back on the road.

Menu

Protein chips, biltong, seaweed, whisps, quest bar, porq rinds, walnuts and almonds, the gyro meat. I literally ate all the protein. Glad this is working.

Cheers, everyone!

Thanks Jim! Will do. And it will either happen when I get home or another two weeks after that. Bathroom scale was not on my list of road trip essentials, fortunately!! I tend to bloat and retain water when traveling. Doesn't stop me from going since travel is one of the things that fulfills me. :)
