Good morning QJB and menuers,
Nice printer! Can't wait to see what else you come up with. I'm surprised you aren't cross-eyed after 15 pages...glad you have a break coming up.
QOTD- My wise use of time seems directly correlated to the amount of interest or passion I have at the moment for said thing. I am also a huge advocate for work/life balance. The work will always be there, and while there are times all hands must be on deck, 14 hour days to handle the workload shouldn't be the norm. This does lead to some missed deadlines since I could never stop working to get just one more thing done...
Not feeling great still. It's a chowder for breakfast kind of day. My current strategy is sleeping as much as possible outside of the minimum to give my body time to...whatever. I got up this morning, fed the dogs, and crawled back into bed. Have got a heater set up by the computer, too.
There will also be warm drinks today. Glad to be working from home so I can muddle through. Still prepping for my trip and hoping I can go. It's only a 25 hour drive one-way. :) I'd been hoping to do heavy house cleaning so I'd come home to it but that might not happen.
Accountability-I was good. Even prepping food for next week. Probably helps to not have an appetite right now. Well. I didn't eat everything on my menu yesterday. So there's that.
Exercise -I'll try. Generally feel a bit better in the late morning.
Menu - Rinse and repeat of yesterday's.
Cheers, everyone.

Thank you, really trying! I'm keen on this trip after delaying it a month. Sleep seems like a good coping mechanism!

Good morning ~ You did a great job resisting the wine last night. Unfortunately, I did not. I really enjoy a glass while I'm making dinner. But that leads to more after dinner too... and not getting up to work out this morning. I see my issues loud and clear. No wine on work nights period. The support group meeting was cancelled last night. Still on jury duty stand by. Paul Flores was found guilty of murder, his dad was found not guilty of accessory. Glad this part is over, I just wish they would find her. Looking forward to the Datelines and Forensic files shows to feature this story. Today is another busy day at work and they are flying by which is great. Nothing but training today. I dreamt about spreadsheets all night. That will be my life now - 24/7 spreadsheets.
QOTD - I certainly try. On a good day I get all the things done - personally, health-wise, around the house, at work and have time to relax and/or have a little fun. I want everyday to be like that because it feels great. I do enjoy a lazy day too - probably too much but it always comes with guilt of some sort and if it continues, it snowballs - not good.
Yesterday:
b- coffee, Costco nut, cheese, fruit pack
l - potluck - a little of this and that - all shady temps and flavors TBH didn't eat much
d - baked chicken thigh, green beans
+ wine, Doritos, 2 mini choc chip cookies - ugh
e - logged 46 active minutes
Have a great day!

QOTD- It depends, I can be super focused and lose track of time. Or the flip-side go down the internet or reading rabbit-hole.
I took some things to Glenn my roommate and he's alive, still struggling. They told him about 65% of his lungs were involved and they were surprised he was upright. He's a tough guy and will survive, but I was really worried about him.
I need to get to work, I had a call from a splicer yesterday and I need to figure out a solution to his issue.
Have a great day everyone!

Glad your roommate will make it. There's a point where toughing it out has bad consequences. People get so used to ignoring their bodies...it adds up. Hope he recovers quickly, and that you have a good day.
