Good morning ~ JB - I though of you often at that conference. I know you struggle with a lot of the same things issue I do. I slept so well last night and until almost 7am. I am SO glad I went and got to meet everyone! Each and everyone of you are amazing - such a wonderful group. I am so thankful for the support in my main struggle of regain which was the focus the whole weekend. I learned so much, but am struggling with all the conflicting information. I have a huge list of research to do today and looking forward to learning more. Bottom line for me - it's mental and all on ME - there is no external magic thing that is going to fix me. So many little things and some big that I need to change. Wine is a problem I need to manage better or stop altogether, but I can't fathom that, lol, at least yet... The microbiome/gut health was of most interest for me. I've heard about it for years, but the presentation really helped it all make sense. No matter where you are in your journey, the conference is a great resource.

I'm off today and I have a ton of unpacking and organizing to do. I brought so much stuff with me it was ridiculous. I need to pair it down in the future as I didn't use half of what I brought. Kiddo is coming over today instead - he had too much to do yesterday which was FINE with me. So today we are doing our Sunday usual. Back to work tomorrow.

QOTD - Today I'm a 4/6 - tired, but happy. Yesterday I was a solid 5 after I got home.

Accountability - spot on, but forgot to weigh in this morning. I will do an honest update tomorrow. Full transparency - I was 228 on 9/29.

b- coffee, eggs

l-chicken, salad mix, tomato's, evoo and red wine vinegar

d- pulled pork and coleslaw

Back at my 4 am workouts tomorrow.

Have a great day!

Oh wow! Did you know each other or was it one of those giant schools where you can't know everyone?

It was small neighborhood school. She was a year ahead of me, so I'm not sure I knew her. Now that I think about it, I don't know her maiden name. Jim?

Wish there was a magic fix. I'm terrified of the hard reality that will hit after the honeymoon phase. Maintenance is always what my body resisted.

The struggle is real and it can just feel like a never-ending battle. Yay for support, right? :) Cheering you on!

QOTD- I feel like an 8 today.

I worked on Saturday so I ended up only being 12 hours short last week, which is way better than 20.

The good thing was that both of my teams won this weekend and that makes me happy.

I got a lot of my stuff from my Mom's house, I will need to make another trip over there for the rest of it. I can't believe that she didn't get rid of it. I have all of my fabric back, my winter coats, sweaters, Pendleton Wool shirts and winter boots, Christmas decorations and my Christmas village. Now to get it all organized. I didn't have room to bring the plastic shelves that I had the fabric in so I'll get them this week.

I never made it to the nature park yesterday, I'll try to make it while the weather is still nice. It's still light until almost 7 so I could go after work if I get my butt in gear.

We have our neighborhood lunch tomorrow at Olive Garden. It should be fun.

Have a great day everyone!

The conference sounded wonderful and sorry I missed all the socializing. I am looking forward to hearing about gut bio info and any links you have to share.

QOTD. I am a six, always happy from a baby on. Especially since Ian left our home intact. It's well built and storm hardened, I thought we would get some storm surge inside of it, but no at our location it didn't happen as the said. We were in a mandatory evacuation orders but we stayed as some neighbors did. It was a wild ride, very slow moving storm and we were in the eye wall where the strongest winds are for 7 hours, the whole storm lasted 14 hours. My work is destroyed, they are relocating our offices elsewhere which will be one small room. We have different software they are going to teaching us and phones. I hope it isn't 6 cells in front of me that I have to figure out which one is ringing. They are still figuring it out and who can work, we normally 24/7. Fort Myers and the Islands are so messed up it will be years being rebuilt. Lot of cars gone. My boss lost her home, total loss. Some houses are just gone, no trace.

After 3 days we escaped to the Keys where most of my family is. Power came back to my house yesterday but no water. Our plan is to stay until it was back on. I can manage without power but no****er. There will be others prolly will be living with us they lost their housing.

But life is good. Menu has been whatever is available.
