What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
G'morning all!
Quick post and run! Busy day getting ready for a relaxing and solo weekend. Wanna be done with all my to do list by this afternoon so I can just do what I like during the weekend.
QJB - your cookies are pieces of art. I have no idea how much patience it takes to decorate them so meticulously!
QOTD: there was actually a test online where you could be sorted into the different houses. Don't know if it's still around. I was sorted into Ravenclaw.
My pics are from a couple of weeks ago when I gave a quick tour of SF to friends. The golden gate was so immersed in fog that you couldn't see the arches unless you were right beneath them. The second pic is the view of SF from the Coit Tower.
My meals yesterday :
- Coffee
- Turkey burger (no buns) & sweet potato fries
- Iced coffee & PP
- Fage yogurt w/sf pudding powder and few butterscotch chips
- E: cardio and weight
Happy Fri-yay.

Your cookies are awesome.
Not a lot on the weekend front. My kids are playing a set (music) at the main stage at the local fair tomorrow. It is a 40 minute slot but they need to bring all their music equipment, which means tear down and set up, then tear down again of DS drum set. We also purchased t-shirts awhile back for the band to sell, so we will give that a try. They have performances for the next 3 weekends. After the performance I will drive DD and her friend up to the horse ranch for an overnighter, they promised the owner they would come up to help with something. I cant remember what but I think sorting tack. They should also be able to get some riding time in. I will plan on my 90 minute hatha class tomorrow, 60 min pilates on Sunday. Today, I have some clothes I ordered that need to go back to the store. Otherwise, just weekend relaxation.
QOTD: Not a fan of Harry Potter. I read the first book when I was homeschooling my son as part of his lesson plan, then we watched the movie. I didnt see what all the hoopla was about. So I looked up the houses and based on the traits of the house I would choose Hufflepuff: Earth, loyalty and hard work.
Accountability: Excellent
B: triple zero greek yogurt, strawberries, keto granola, cold brew with half n half
L: Asian chicken salad with sesame ginger dressing
S: protein frosty
D: Summer salad with chicken, light poppyseed dressing
S: 4 squares sf chocolate, 100 cal bag popcorn
E: 60 min hot yoga
My pictures are of the signs we painted last weekend. Mine are the Hello Fall and Let it Snow (front side is fall, backside in winter so I can just turn the sign around based on the season). DD painted the welcome sign. Also included is picture of the girls in process of painting.
Have a great weekend.

Good morning all and Happy Friday,
I'm glad it's the weekend and my goal is to be active. I'm going out for a men's meeting, fellowship and pizza tonight. Tomorrow, I may get together with Emily. Sunday is family day and it's my dad's birthday. The elder will get what he desires which is Szechuan Chinese from a favorite place in Chinatown. Lots of bad eating ahead but I can moderate my portions.

Afternoon,
Short post today! I made it to Georgia. Also found out from my neighbor that the woman at my house is a local drug addict known to the police. She lives about four miles away, and now I have her information. One of the people my neighbor alerted saw her walking that day and recognized her. They warned that yes, she's probably looking to steal things because drugs.
Just waiting for the rest of the family to get here and we'll head up to Helen for a little Oktoberfest.
Menu today has been a third of a questionable gas station hot dog with no bun, half a string cheese, and a protein shake. Will probably have something German themed when we get up there. This is my first longer drive since surgery and I got some reminders about how I apparently associate some foods as free road trip calories. Nothing to report for accountability, though.
Pictures from my newly installed security camera, and of a toad in my well house. Cheers, everyone.
