Good morning! I am winged, but doing well. I've got 8 stitches for my troubles and limited use of my left arm for a few days to minimize scarring. Pain is minimal and more than tolerable with Tylenol on board. I'm allergic to adhesive, so the worst part so far is the itchy skin from the bandaging. I just changed bandage styles, so we'll see if that helps. I have to keep it covered until next Thursday.
It's so gorgeous out here. I wanted to do a bike ride at the bay, but the doctor nixed that for a few days. No getting the heart rate up, again, to facilitate healing. So Roger is going off to play pickleball and I am staying home and reading. Maybe go shopping for a bit this afternoon. Those ladies at "chair yoga" made me look like a homeless person. I need to up my work out gear game! We have a pretty quiet weekend ahead.
I'm came in about 60 calories under my goal yesterday. No adult beverages were had. I gained weight this week. That's frustrating as hell. Our planned dinner of smoked pork butt didn't get completely cooked until 9 last night, so I punted to grill pork chops and haloumi. One of my favorite meals, and plenty left over for lunch today, so...winning!
QoTD: I had to ask my daughter as I have never read a Potter book. She quickly decided I was a Hufflepuff with this description : Stoners of the groups (wine for me!), they take everyone, value kindness and compassion and bake lots of cookies. I can own that!
Menu:
B: 3 oz crack chicken and 1-2 tbsp cottage cheese
L: left over pork chop and slice of halumi
D: pulled pork tacos, hold the tortilla, grilled cheese and fresh avo and tomatoes
Pics! I have some finally in my phone this week! 5, I'm hogging up space.
1- what the edges of a hurricane over San Diego look like
2 - Grandkid Alivia and Papa, 3 Grandkid Erika and Papa
4 - cheddar butter on chili cheese bread with ham and tomato
5- found on a walk this week.
Peace everybody! Have a great weekend.

Just a little derm issue. But it's on the left side of my chest where there is very little extra skin (ask Rog! LOL!) and no fat. So they want me to limit use for a few days and lifting for 3 weeks on that side so I can have the best visual result possible.
I'm positive my white girl, blonde headed body who grew up in the sixties with no sunscreen has put more than 1 Dermatologist's kid through college at this point.
Great pics of pap with grandkids. Love the pinecone heart.
