I think the sport ones are basically on a mini van drive train.

Good morning QJB! Happy Friday! Those are just lovely cookies!

I only got about 3 hours of sleep last night, which is usually not a problem but it was not in my preferred time span so we shall see if I run out of energy before I run out of day.

The good news is I'm "attending" the Bloody Scotland book festival (virtually) that runs Thursday to Sunday and so I've been able to watch several of yesterday's panels! Winning!!

QOTD - I would be Hufflepuff because unlike a particular famous author I believe in inclusivity.

So much going on this weekend, it's not going to be very restful; I think my next weekend with a break is Oct 1 but that's a good problem to have.

menu today

3 coffee plus half and half

English muffin with poached egg

street tacos

yogurt

olives and cheese

My pictures today are my favorite tweet of the week and the sign from the tourist railroad on the Portland Eastern Promenade. Apparently coffee makes trains and me go:-)

Have a great day and weekend everyone!

Good mornin everyone! Hope that we all have a good weekend ahead.

JB, those cookies are amazing!

Not just a whole lot planned today. We have to run across town to my Aunts house to pick something up. Then we will pick the kids up from school. Which is good because I do miss them. We'll have them for a few hours. I also have to wash clothes and we are packing up a bunch of stuff for the thrift store. We're getting rid of a lot of my moms glass stuff. Such a relief! She is the one pushing for it and I won't argue with it.

I'm so excited! The lady who has hired me to make items for her art sales bought us both a membership to a certain tutorial makers site. SOOOOOOO many things to make! I am sending off another package to her today. Two of my pics are of those items. The little circles are going to be finished by her as she has the parts and I don't. It's nice to have something to do...that I need to do. The other picture is of an earring I made last night. I'll be wearing the pair today to see how they do. Not a great picture but you get the general design concept.

QOTD: I was officially sorted to Slytherin on the website thing. I'll just say I am in the same camp as Jen.

B: JUST egg cup + coffee

L: PP shake and baked lays

D: not sure of the protein...may be tilapia, also stir fry veggies

S: not sure on these at all.

It's amazing the variations you can make with just the loops of metal. Very impressive.

Good morning ~ those cookies are adorable!! I can only imagine the focus and patience that takes. I'm getting overwhelmed with the pre-training for the job switch. I'm trying to wrap up my loose ends for my unit, that is what I should be focusing on. I'm being fully thrown into a whole other set of commitments - trainings, calls, meetings and emails before the transition date and I have 3 back to back trips coming up. I'm looking forward to getting away actually. I get stuck in my head with the way I think things should be when I should just roll - everything will sort itself out. Today is my half day. Getting organized is my only plan. No plans after work except maybe grocery shopping. Full chill weekend as well.

QOTD - I want to be with the gang in Gryffindor.

Accountability - bread before dinner

b- coffee, yogurt

l- rotisserie chicken, salad

d- pork chops, green beans

Have a wonderful day and weekend!

Wine tasting in San Simeon - the girls - me, sis and SIL

around the table - the hubs, me, sister, SIL, brother, son, BIL
