Mornin' All!

I biked over to my first in person class that I've had in ages yesterday afternoon. I think the class will be really interesting, but I'm very concerned about the venue. Students were packed in there like sardines, and the only people masked were me and the professor. WTF? Does this university not give a crap about people's health? Granted, it's the students' choice to mask or not (unfortunately....), but at least they could fill up a lecture hall only halfway so that people could spread out. Other than dropping the class, I think the only semi-safe thing to do would be to always go early and grab a seat in the front row. Not sure what I'm going to do...

I was at a luncheon yesterday. I checked my phone before we started to get an update on Queen Elizabeth. It just said that Prince Harry was on his way to Balmoral. I was a little afraid that she'd died and they were waiting on him to arrive to make the announcement. Sure enough, at the end of the lunch and presentation, someone announced that she'd passed. This is so sad. I've been checking the BBC online and listening to BBC World Service off and on ever since for updates and stories. It's almost like when Diana died.

QJB - the first thing that popped into my mind is Starbucks may approach you to make cookies for their stores from here on out! You may have to open a factory! Well, you'd certainly be set for life!

L: I'm at a film discussion group that meets over lunch. The only thing I like at this place are their burgers (I always get them with the Impossible Burger option since i don't eat ground beef) - so that. I'm going to try to eat just half of it since I blew it big time yesterday at that luncheon - and then I continued to be an eating machine once I got home. YIKES!!)

AS: protein muffin?

D: either Indian bean curry or 1/2 a Loma Linda Southwest bowl (if I still have a pack.) - both are pretty filling and not too bad calorie-wise...

I've only had 1 lobster roll and it was at a client lunch in NYC!! it was sooo good

I have still not gotten into my exercise and honestly not sure what to do. I am paying $40 for tempo for the app and not using it. i might as well just rejoin the local gym, but i really don't know but im having motivational issues actually working out from home.

Good morning ~I hope you get some hammock time this weekend. Great photos - those cookies are adorable. I was able to get organized yesterday at work planning for the next few months. It put my mind at ease, one thing at a time... It cooled off just enough to not be miserable. The hubs was so excited about NFL last night he BBQ'd burgers and made 7 layer dip. It was a fun evening. Today is my half day, I need to get an eval done, then off to a pedi and meeting my kiddo for lunch. This weekend we are headed up to Cambria to celebrate my birthday with my family. There will be lots of oysters! Otherwise lots of self care and more football.

QOTD - Not anymore. I used to get People until they stacked up unread, so I cancelled. My favorite - Martha Stewart Living but she recently stopped publishing and/or printing her magazine - BOO, like I literally cried. Wondering if she still digital now!

I was reading the reviews for the book I'm reading on Amazon and stumbled on to a tiny spoiler.... What was I thinking? Now as I listen I'm trying to connect everything to that, it doesn't make any sense! I'm hoping I read it wrong or something. Still enjoying the book but the spoiler is driving me nuts.
