agreed on the folding the same way. I try to be grateful that someone else is taking care of the laundry.

QOTD; our chiweenie Bell I would say has quirks. first if you come downstairs and she is down there, she runs and puts her toy in her mouth, always if you leave and come back to the house, she puts her toy in her mouth.
DH has showed her how to put her food dish (it's a tray) in her mouth even with nothing in the dish. now we have been training her how to carry food in the dish to the couch, jump on the couch and eat her food. not perfect, she does tend to spill on the 'jump'.
skylar the blind one will play with toys by himself and he is soooo funny. he puts the toy in on foot, then drags it along the floor and kicks it. he amuses us and himself.
food today: mostly leftovers
b: coffee coffee water
L: leftover bbq pork and mushrooms
d: unsure need to figure it out, maybe shrimp and shiritaki noodles ? and shrimp and grits for DH
Good morning, everybody!
JB, I bet Grim loves having that cat around to enforce the no touching in bed rule.
Maddiemoe, check in - it's been awhile since we have heard from you.
I had the best salad Saturday night at RPM Seafood. Usually I'm not a salad raver, but this was a Greek Salad with sweet fresh vegetables and tangy olives and feta. It was an amazing contrast. Also, I don't know why the salad dressing that you get at home is so much worse than the simple dressings made in restaurants.
And as we walked out of the restaurant, we saw a couple getting married on a boat as it drove under the bridge we were walking across.
Friday we did the 12 for $12 oysters at Whole Foods. They were tasty, but I kind of lost track of time (i.e was drinking a glass of wine) while Marilyn spent 25 minutes shucking them, before I remembered and offered to help her. Oops. She didn't allow me to help because she was afraid I would injure myself.
We also had a Stilton that I bought at Costco a few weeks ago. Frankly, it's a dismal cheese. I am not normally one to disparage a cheese but this particular one is crumbly and bland. Nonetheless, we will soldier on and consume the remainder of the Stilton.
Blondie was awesome. I will post a picture Friday. She wore this tailored red sweatsuit. But the drummer just flat out wore Addidas sweatpants. I think he bought them at Costco while I was acquiring the subpar Stilton.
I have very little going on at work this week, so I will be focusing on fitness and preparing for the long weekend.
QOTD: You know that saying that the poker players have "if you don't know who the mark is, you are the mark?" Well, I'm probably the quirky one.
Breakfast: Egg sandwich
Lunch: Meatballs
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!

for years I made my own salad dressings - they're not hard to make (there are recipes all over the internet - and once you've done it for awhile, you can make up your own recipes). They're WAY better than the store-bought ones, that have crap added to them to extend shelf life. Many of them taste chemical-y to me. But since I'm now using light ones, I'm back to store bought, since I think they have to use chemicals to make them "light". It's been a trade off for sure - although some aren't too bad..
Panera's Poppy Seed Salad Dressing is really good. Newman's Own Sesame Ginger also very tasty for light dressings.
