QOTD- Xanadu is probably my favorite.

Great news here I will sign the papers on Friday and get possession on Monday a full 2 weeks ahead of what I had originally thought. So that means we have more than 2 days to get out of this apartment. I will change the dates on the utilities and schedule the internet install so I can work from there. I need to call and schedule the movers, so I'll move everything from storage directly to the new house, and not worry about what is in the apartment until after I have internet and get my office set up so I can work.

I am so excited! My Mom is excited for me to get the things I left in her garage. I gave her all of my fabrics, she doesn't really sew anymore so wasn't interested in them. I also left my winter clothes and coats, just in case. Well this is in case. I will be glad to have it all back. Can't wait to start sewing again, and to have more room.

Have a great day everyone!

QOTD: I will go with You're the one I want, which was a duet with Travolta. I have seen Grease a couple of times and liked all the songs.

Took the car in for a recall fix and already back home. Turns out I could have made the physical therapy appointment, but I was able to reschedule that for tomorrow. That means I have 2 medical things on that day. The other one is for urology as my rehuematologist thinks my autoimmune disorder is also attacking my kidneys as well as my nerves. I don't have any symptoms that are bothering me but my labs are concerning her. I know why people retire, you have so many doctor appointments that you have to. I will do all follow ups as directed because putting your head in the sand is never a good idea. I am feeling pretty good all around, but really annoyed at this foot drop thing. The foot doctor was not encouraging at all...saying it is probably permanent. I want to prove him wrong.

The rest of the day is free. A weight training season tonight is planned. I may get my paints out and work on my Everglades landscape. Or not haha.

Menu.

Breakfast: coffee and a small handful of pecans

Lunch: Mexican bowl, chicken and cauliflower rice base

Dinner: A little spaghetti but mostly meat sauce, salad

Snacks homemade fresh pickles, fruit

My weight is stuck? I would like to lose another 10 pounds for an ideal weight of 135. I am 5'5"

You are right about retirement and all the doctor appointments. When I was in my 30's I went for years without seeing a doctor. Now I have appointments all over my calendar. My friend and I are 74. When we were about 65 her body did something that destroyed her kidneys. She had a kidney transplant a few months ago and should be able to live for a long time with the new kidney. It is amazing what those doctors can do. Sending good vibes that everything will be OK with your exam.

Thank you. I have the feeling that my autoimmune attack has subsided for now and that kidneys have returned to normal. The thing is when they get around to further tests so much time has elaspsed that the crisis is done with. For now. It sounds like your friend had something autoimmune?

It is autoimmune. I am glad that she is doing better now. I hope you are right and your kidneys are back to normal.

Good morning Jen and Menu folks!

Yesterday was an uneventful first day back to better habits. I was not able to do the exercise video as My Folks needed some help at their new place, I did get in my steps, so that is a plus.

QOTD - You're the one that I want is the one I can remember..now is in my head...ooh...ooh...ooh...

B - Scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese

L - Salami and pepperjack

AS- cukes and ranch

D- Taco salad
