What a stubborn little birdie. In my area we see wild turkeys randomly on the road. Not just one but a gaggle (it that what we call a grouping to turkeys?). I love seeing them.

Your cakes sounds and looks amazing.

we have wild turkeys, too - lots are in our arboretum - and I've also seen them on golf courses and in residential neighborhoods. I don't remember seeing them until 10 or 15 years ago - now they seem to be taking over!

Good Morning Jen and Menuers,

I don't know who is cuter Alex or the penguin. I got a ton of crap on my plate before I head off to the weekend. Tonight we will go to the harness races, pretty much do it every Friday, and I have a family reunion tomorrow and going to a friends family reunion on Sunday. So there will be cooking and ****tails all weekend long.

QOTD: When I was 4 I was on Paul Shannon's adventure time with my brothers cub scout group. I was with the leaders twin daughters. We were the only girls in the audience and Paul had us come on stage and he was asking us questions well I stand up and stat fidgeting and he ask me if I was a dancer. Mind you this was in 1969 and I said nooo I gotta Peee. They lead me back in the audience to my mom and headed to the restroom. I always wanted to get a hold of the TV station to see if the film would still be around to see it. Of course the whole family was watching from home. My mom was not happy. LOL

Accountability: Terrible I found a Hala restaurant in the Walmart and had and awesome falafel platter. I also had two pieces of a raisin hazelnut candy bar I but at Aldi.

Good morning all and Happy Friday,

It's time for the mf'ing weekend, yeaaaaahhhhhh boy!

My trivia night yesterday got rescheduled for Monday. I'm a fan of trivia but no longer a fan of bars.

It's awesome that you were on Jeopardy. My aunt was on Jeopardy in the 80s. My sister and I used to try out every year and only passed the test a couple times. We never advanced past that point though.

QOTD - I haven't had 15 minutes of fame and not sure I want i****ching my brother deal with it, it seems like a whole lot of hassle. He had his own TV show for a season and used to write for publications. The closest I got to 15 minutes was that I was part of a weekly series for the Chicago Tribune called Pizza Posse.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.

L: Chicken Salad.

D: Gyros with a few bites of pita.

S: sf popsicle(s)

The week is speeding by. I have been enjoying my time here in Montana, spending time with family. I have really been enjoying my time with my SIL Katie. We have been working out together everyday. Yesterday we went for drinks at a bar (I drank H2O though) then walked around the fair a bit. The fair was a little bit lame, the displays were lacking but had some good girl time. I am posting a picture today with me and the sister-girls I went with.

Started the day off with a Pilates class. I am really enjoying the early exercise classes but probably wont continue it when I get home since my yoga and Pilates classes are hot which requires more time after the workout to get ready for the day. I dont tend to sweat unless it is a hot class. Otherwise, I am taking DD and friend to lunch to catch up on their week (I havent seen a whole lot of them this week), then to a local cowboy clothing store. I also will visit my mom this afternoon, then maybe see my MIL depending on what time she gets done with the fair.

QOTD: I dont think I have had 15 minutes of fame yet. Maybe someday

B: triple zero greek yogurt with collagen, blueberries, keto granola, cold brew with half n half

L: TBD-probably a healthy salad choice with protein meat like chicken

S: protein frosty

D: summer salad with chicken, poppy seed dressing

S: 100 cal bag popcorn, 4 squares sf chocolate

E: 45 minutes Pilates (done)

Pictures are of DD working the booth at the fair, DD and friend watching barrel racing event, and me, SIL, and friends.

Good morning! We are moving slow over here this morning. Between the grand girls and the injured dog, I had a late night with several interruptions. We are all up and moving now, and I'm drinking my fake coffee and refereeing the girls squabbles.

I did good on food yesterday, I thought. I did eat one, small, piece piece of the pizza. It was pretty damn good. Roger was thrilled. I also followed up the small piece an hour later with a little deli turkey and 1 slice of provolone. And then later some chicharrons. But I'm up 2.5 pounds this morning. WTH? Today will be ok to manage during the day, but going to a party for a couple hours tonight. No idea what's up for food, and there will be yummy wine. I should resist, but I probably won't. I'm taking the girls swimming at 10:30 and then they have a lunch date with Papa for the Chinese buffet. I don't do buffets so I have opted to stay home with the dog.

QoTD: I've been on TV a couple times in support of various Non-Profit organizations. I also won a Small Woman Owned Business of the year from the Small Business Administration for my company and was in the paper for that. Definitely nothing as fun as Jeopardy!

Menu:

B: bacon and 1 fried egg

L: maybe more turkey deli meat, slice of cheese and Trader Joe's Cacio di Peppi protein puffs

D: tbd -- hello Vino Tinto!

Pics today. The pizza prep and result. The girls being weird with pizza, my poor brown dog and a flower at my friends house. Whatever the flower is (milkweed???) I don't know, but in a few weeks the entire plant will be devoured by caterpillars and then there will be butterfly chrysalis all over the front of his house before the all erupt! It's a cool and pretty thing to see.

Peace Everybody!

pizza, provolone, and deli turkey are all loaded with sodium. I suspect that 2.5 lb gain was water retention from that. Should be gone in a day or two.

My old cat called the cone "The Cone of Death" because he got himself stuck in the corner and couldn't walk with it on.

I had a visitor the other day a Coopers Hawk, he looked really intense.

Have a great day everyone!
