Good morning ~ TGIF! Happy to hear you have found some relief Melody. This has been a week - seemed long but here we are and I'm still energized for the most part. Just my eyes are killing me from too much focusing on screens. My eyes are 'locking' while driving home at the end of the day and it concerns me. Eye strain is no joke. Last night I couldn't even read my phone or a book. I jus****ched no brainer TV and went to bed early. I will take it easy this weekend and give myself a huge break from screens.
Today is just a half day at work thankfully, then grocery shopping and home. Going out for su****onight with the hubs. Tomorrow we are taking the dogs to the beach again and might go see Elvis. Sunday we will probably golf but doing absolutely nothing would be perfect.
QOTD - I've meet a lot of interesting people who have fascinated me with their interesting personalities and stories. I would have to say my dad is the most interesting.
Accountability - great
b-coffee, 2 HB eggs
l -chicken w/Mexican cauli rice
d- sushi - probably sashimi and edamame
e - 45 min on treadmill - I love watching TV but I miss the trainer motivation. I need to mix it up.
Have a wonderful day and weekend!
More like the late 80's for me, lol

That table is hilarious. I feel you on the screens, the amount of refocusing I'm having to do right now to see clearly makes me think I will do the same and no electronics this weekend!

Really cool use of filters. I know you said it was a AI themed filter but I think the bottom one looks like something from the immersive Van Gogh exhibit! you are very talented. You should sell prints.
qotd - I talk to a lot of people and most of them are interesting. Sometimes you have to draw it out of them but I don't think anyone is boring...unpleasant maybe but not boring. I sound like a true extrovert, I think.
I am just ready to get through today and relax this weekend. Definitely on the mend but not unhappy I can't go anywhere/do anything a few more days.
my pix are of my unexpected detour to Albuquerque and the strip from the bar at the top of Mandalay Bay

G'morning all!
Melody, very happy your new pain meds are working for you. Hopefully they will continue working.
Today will be my last post for a couple of weeks. Leaving for Costa Rica on Sun and coming back two weeks from today. If all works out there will be no wifi where we are staying and the kids will be off their phones the whole time. Planning on a lot of beach days, hiking in the rain forests, eating good food and just enjoying the company of the kidlets.
DS who was supposed to arrive yesterday changed his flight and arriving today. His first request? Ants on a log, not with raisins but with chocolate chips. He acts all broody and independent but then he wants a snack that he used to have in kindergarten.
QOTD: my mind is drawing a blank, sorry.
Pics are of last week's race. To answer Teenie's question (how did you place) I had to look it up online. Out of 9000 something female runners I was 3000 something, so not bad. There were a total of 15,000 participants.
My meals yesterday :
- Coffee
- Left over Mex cauli rice with shrimps
- Quest bar, jello
- Spicy Korean chicken (Jen's recipe)
- E: cardio + weight
Happy Fri-yay! And talk to you in 2 weeks.

Lots of books and podcasts. We are also bringing interesting games, because we will be out in the boonies.
