Good Morning Amy and Menuers,

Thanks for Starting us Amy glad to hear you had a nice weekend.

I did much of nothing that was healthy or productive this weekend. I drank and ate willie nellie and soaked up a bunch of sun with no sunscreen. It was raining this morning so I stayed in bed and still have not exercised. I also still have this head cold. It is still bad enough that I need Sudafed and sinex. I thought the pool sun and booze would kick it out of me but nope still got it.

QOTD: I am on these reality shows so right now it is Big Brother, The challenge, and Claim to fame. I love mindless TV especially with how hard work and my bible study have been. I have to finish up chapter 6 of my Study and start on chapter 7 by Wednesday. There are 8 quiet times to each chapter and I have finished 1 Only three more chapters after this. I am glad I really need a break it has been very intense.

Accountability: I had pizza, chips, alcohol (frozen banana slush w/rum and some white claws), I had fried green tomatoes and a mini peanut butter pie. It is only 4" so i been eating 1/4 a day as a treat.

Good mornin everyone.

Dinner yesterday turned out great. Except I didn't clean the one of the jalapeños well enough and of course that was the one I ate. This girl was on fire! I think. I'm slightly allergic to capsaicin.

Today is my mom's birthday, she wants Thai today and to go to a craft store. I'm exhausted from being up so much yesterday.

QOTD: I have to work on chainmaille so nothing atm. I have the urge to read the lord of the rings series again.

food is gonna be a bit off today and if I'm honest so has the past 5 days. I need to straighten up but I'm struggling.

Mornin' All!

Well I flew off my bike yesterday, so I think biking season is over for me. I'm not sure exactly what happened. I was turning a corner and the bike fell from under me. The front tire was flat, but that could have been the result of the fall rather than the cause - not sure. It could also be that my shoe lace may have gotten caught in the chain. I have a bad right hip, so it's hard for me to tie my right shoe. I've noticed a few times in the past that the lace was dangerously close to the chain, so I've had to stop and re-tie the shoe. I'm not sure if that was the case yesterday and I just didn't notice, or what. And the shoe flew off my foot during the fall, so there was no way to check. In any event, I ended up lying in the street and had to crawl over to the curb. Luckily we were on a city street and not on some remote bike trail, and DH was with me, so he rode home and got the car. No way could I have walked or ridden home. My right leg, especially, is a mess, but I don't think it's broken since i can walk. But it's bruised and swollen and it's challenging to change positions. I'm going to try not to drink too much today since getting on and off the toilet, especially, is a challenge. UGH. I'm spending most of my time in bed, though, with the leg elevated and iced. At least I'll have no excuse now to not have time to get caught up with reading, film-watching, and everything else i need to do for my classes and discussion groups!

QOTD: I'm currently trying to get caught up on films for my class. I started watching one last night (forget the name), but I wasn't really getting into it and the violence was too much for me - so I stopped. I'm just auditing the class, so who cares. I'm not getting graded on it, so why waste two hours of my life being miserable? I started watching the next film, "Zodiac", and I like it much better. It's also violent, but I like stuff about serial killers. I'll watch the second half today (too tired to watch the whole thing last night).

B: plain skyr with blueberry/blackberry compote, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: cheesecake-flavored yogurt pie with some kind of fruit compote

AS: either a protein muffin or a L&F yogurt with a skinny bagel (and light cream cheese)

D: I may just have some microwavable thing. We have several semi-healthy ones in the freezer

have a great day, everyone!

Well that sounds like a terrible day. I hope your injury heals quickly and that you're able to catch up on what you need to.

Biking seemed so much easier as a kid. Sadly, we're much less indestructible as we age. Best wishes.
