Thank you!!

I'm excited and nervous. Fortunately, I'm busy so it's keeping the days full. And the pre surgery diet hasn't been bad at all. Appreciate your note!

So excited for you to have this life changing surgery. You will be amazed at the amount of energy you will have as you heal (the first month with be slow due to healing) and lose weight. Before surgery, I was sluggish and lazy. Now I dont like to be sedentary and like to keep busy. It sound like you have a great surgical team who is willing to take the time to answer your questions and increase your comfort regarding the surgery. I look forward to taking your weight loss journey with you as you post updates!

Thank you so much! This community has been amazing in sharing stories, and with being accepting of people at all stages of the journey. Your stories and encouragement are much appreciated!

I look forward to the increasing energy levels. There's so much to do, and it will be so much easier without carrying around an extra 100 pounds. I love to travel, hike, camp, and do all the outdoorsy things. I miss them. It feels a bit like slowly resurfacing memories since even now on the limited diet, my energy levels are increasing. It can only improve from here!

So glad to have found this community. You are all amazing. Cheers.

I can come up with so many excuses in the afternoon unless it's something I love (like pilates).

Its a Terrific Tuesday-AKA Taco Tuesday!

Monday was spent running errands with DD starting with her chiropractor appointment, to shopping for a one piece bathing suit, nails, and electrolysis. I finally told her I needed to get home to have a snack before yoga. Overall it was a nice day but busy since I also needed to iron clothes for the week and prepare my lunches (I prepare lunches for the week at the beginning so it is grab and go). Oh and I forgot, I needed to pick strawberries, raspberries, peas and tomatoes also before yoga!

Today is work but I have a dental appointment at 2pm to have a cap re-cemented that came off this weekend. I think it is all the gum I chew. I guess I have an oral fixation but the gum helps prevent snacking.

QOTD: I prefer to workout after work. I am not a morning person in general. However since WLS I do get up earlier. However if I do workout on the weekends I prefer a mid-morning working (after 9am) mostly because I feel too stiff in the early early morning. Generally on the weekends I prefer an outdoor activity that can occur anytime-so hiking, kayaking, skiing.

Accountability: 1/4 cookie

B: triple zero greek yogurt with collagen, 1/4c blueberries, 2 TBSP keto granola, cold brew with half n half

L: strawberry, blackberry, blueberry lettuce, chicken, poppy seed dressing (loving my summer salads!)

S: protein frosty

D: 3 oz chicken, veggie or fruit

S: 100 cal kettle corn, 4 squares sf chocolate

E: Inferno pilates 60 min

Have a great day!

Is inferno pilates like hot yoga but with the reformer?
