Good Morning Menuers,

Just a quick start since I got a lot going on today. I am tired from the holiday and we are starting on this new system at work today. So lets say crazy day and if I do not get back to follow up you'll know why.

I did run the whiskey rebellion run yesterday and I am not proud but I finished. I can't fault myself considering I just started back running on June 17th. Last year I ran it in 25:59.67 this year I was at 33:26.01. I came in 5th with no medal but I am now motivated to get back out there and go faster.

QOTD: What question since surgery drives you crazy? People ask me often don't you feel so much better? My response is I honestly never knew I felt bad until I started to feel better. I was never miserable as an Obese person. I had a great life. I just can do things now I didn't realize I was missing out on.

Accountability : Oh the chili dog and a bunch of other crap.

Good Morning! Thank you for starting us out today. I'm proud of you for getting out there and getting that run done- you're amazing. We had a very low key weekend. I worked a few hours Saturday and the rest was pretty much watching TV. Em did go to a friends house last night after work but John and I stayed home since one of our kitties doesn't like the fireworks. Today is officially payroll day but the two should pretty much have it taken care of and I'm just there to support what may come up. I think either this week or next I'm supposed to start training on some other projects with my boss.

QOTD: What can't you eat?

How do you like that TJ's breakfast sandwich? I saw them the other day but didn't pick them up,

I like them, quick and easy in the micro. I'm sure they'd be even better in the air fryer.

Good morning everybody!

I logged into OH this morning to see the rare but awesome combination of Chrissy and Kelly as lead and last comments!

Congratulations on getting back at the race! 33 minutes is better than you think, it's just that 25 was really good.

Hopefully Trish will have a dram of Macallan for me while she is in Scotland.

We had a good weekend, mostly getting ready for our vacation next week. We went to a pool party Sunday. Today we are going fishing out on Lake Michigan which should be fun. Trying to get off my butt and workout before that because I will be too tired afterwards.

We watched all 8 episodes of Terminal List and liked it. I had read the book and it follows it somewhat.

QOTD: not much to be honest. I guess adjusting my eyes/mind to the size of my stomach.

breakfast: protein bar

lunch: sandwich

dinner: fish? We will see

have a great day all!

The Teri Al List is on my watchlist. I am glad to hear it is good. What kind of fish do you catch on Lake Michigan? Sounds like a fun day.

Yay, it's already Tuesday!! I hope this short week feels like a short week for everyone.

Today's big events are having a landscape design come and look at my front yard to give me a xeriscape plan; I need to call my local water people and see if they are doing any promotions to take out lawns and then I have a concert at red rocks tonight (Chris Isak and Lyle Lovett) and meeting friends before hand for dinner.

QOTD - None; if they are close enough that I've discussed my personal healthcare choices with them, their questions aren't annoying.

Menu today

Coffee X 3

PB toast

L&F Greek and Jalapeño sausage

tokyo joe's chicken and veggie bowl

My exercise today will be "red rocks", lol.

Have a great day everyone!

You have spent a lot of time at Red Rocks recently. Do you have season tickets for a concert series?

I wish they had a season ticket but no, it's just like any other large venue and have to go through one of the big ticketing companies, ala cart.
