One of the housemates was a deadhead and had told few people they could spend the night. But I think the word got around and a lot more people than he had anticipated crashed over. The housemate was very apologetic afterwards but it left a very bad taste in my mouth about deadheads.

And yes, those fans are old now. A couple we know (in their late 50s) actually met at a dead concert. I couldn't believe it until they showed me a picture. He is even a bigger geek than DH, his wife looks so sophisticated like she belongs on a Paris runway. And yet they are die hard deadheads.
