Oh...the horrors of not having priority boarding and getting on board with the commoners!!!!
Maybe they should just stay home.

First world problems right? I was also informed that I need to sign a permission slip for the boys to have more than just beer and wine. I'm thinking that one over.

Mornin' All!

Hope you like the Lavazza espresso, Jen. I'm hooked. I have the decaf version now, too, so I can enjoy it later in the day as well! I really need to get a bigger moka pot because this one-cup one isn't enough - I'm always making a second pot so I can have a big mugful of it.

another scorcher on tap for today, so I'll get out and exercise early. Probably bike. I don't think things will get too, too bad until later on this morning. Nothing else going on except for stuff for classes. I'm trying to get ahead on these movies, especially, so I won't have to spend too much time in Scotland trying to keep up with classes. I started a global linguistics class yesterday as well. I've never taken a linguistics class before, so I'm looking forward to it. At least that one is eight weeks long (film class is only four weeks long), so I should have plenty of time to get caught up with that one when I get back from Scotland.

QOTD: I'm more of a planner. Something would have to be pretty tempting for me to opt out of an original plan.

B: grilled peach with vanilla Greek yogurt, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: chocolate "mousse" (made with cottage cheese) topped with light Cool Whip and raspberries

AS: Greek yogurt and a skinny bagel with light cream cheese

D: chickpea gnocchi with tomato/ricotta pesto sauce

have a great day, everyone!

Good morning, everybody!

Marilyn is home and raving about Newport Beach. We went through her pictures of the harbor, Islands, homes, etc. The Real Housewive of Orange County that they saw was Taylor Armstrong, but that name doesn't mean anything to me. She is still talking about accompanying me to the convention, but acknowledges we are crazy over scheduled for the next four months (more on that in QOTD:).

It sounds like the people they stayed with had a beautiful house with a pool and a hot tub and they went out to nice restaurants.

Hopefully, the boys will get out of bed shortly and acknowledge her presence, I am sure that it would make her happy.

Back to work this morning. I have a number of calls, etc. today after the three day weekend. I think that it will be quite hot today, so I will probably try and go to an early or late Crossfit today.

QOTD: We are not cancellers (As I type that I think of the KAYAK commercial with the lady who hasn't left her house since COVID - No Cancelling!). What we are is way over scheduled. I have to text a friend to decline something today.

Breakfast: egg sandwhich

Lunch: Roast Beef

Dinner: Hamburgers

Have a great day, all!

Good Morning Jen and Menuers,

I am glad your travels are going well. I hope that guy gets the coffee right. I would not want to be in his shoes if he screwed that one up. Crazy you let a man handle it I would be a little hesitant on something that important.

So I am having lower back pain and knee pain. I have no idea why and I have not exercised since Friday just a bit of running in the pool. I plan to head there after work and try to get some laps in I do not like being this sedentary.

I think I'm going to run to Walmart at lunch if I get time. I want to make sure I have everything I need for the 4th of July holiday and want to start now just in case I have to hit multiple stores to fill my shopping list. I notice less and less coupons for products I tend to buy and I feel like I am on a scavenger hunt not a grocery run.

QOTD: I never would cancel plans with anyone if I already commit to something. However I am quick to use a restroom because I don't want to miss the conversation when at dinner or at a bar.

Accountability: I did good. I only had a few peanuts .
