Sending you tons of patience and virtual wine, not whine. If you need bail, let me know.

That's a true friend...bail money. We are not there yet, if this thing continues for a couple of more days I might hit you up for bail money.

I ripped the muscle and tendon from my arm and continued to ski and hour and a half took over a week for me to decide since I can not lift it maybe I should see a doctor. DH has been whining about arm pain for weeks now. Men and there ability to cope with pain and illness evades me. Give him homemade Italian red wine with sugar and lemon heat it up like tea and have him chugg it. He'll pass out and wake up a new man. That is how I was taught to handle a cold and it's work in most instances.

When NyQuil was stronger that was my solution, give it to him so he passes out. I was very bummed when they changed their formula and it's no longer as strong.

Good morning! Yesterday, I had the girls and a free pass at a hotel pool to take them too. I had visions of fun in the water, sunshine, reading, teaching them about cabana boys. In reality -- it rained some and the sun never did come out. I was wrapped in towels the whole time for warmth, the snack bar/restaurant was closed down and the the pool had seen better days. Thank goodness I packed them snacks and when they got to whiney after almost three hours in the pool, I called home and had my husband start them lunch while I bundled them home. I never did go in the water, but I did start a new book I got to read for a bit. And today, the sun is already up and warming us up. Our pick for a fun new restaurant last night was a total win, and I was able to make great choices from their list of seafoods. My only real indulgence was a half slice of sourdough bread that came straight out of the oven.
I have essentially zero plans today. I will run and drop off the winter bedding for cleaning and put away til fall and I should clean the bathrooms and dust. Such an exciting day!
QoTD: If I'm being honest, of course wine and the corkscrew Jim recommended. Also Doritos, and my library card for access to all the books. I still prefer an actual book to any other kind of reading. Wine, Doritos, Read. Not a bad afterlife.
Menu:
B: roast chicken and cottage cheese
L: the chicken salad I made using greek yogurt. Matt -- turned out pretty good I think! I used 5 oz's chicken breast. 2-3 oz's greek yogurt, 1 teaspoon great dijon mustard, 1 oz green apple and 1 oz chopped carrot for crunch (I hate celery). Added some salt and pepper and I am very happy with it. I will eat half again today and maybe a 3-4 chicharrons.
D: Leftover babyback rib and salad.
Peace Everybody!

Lisa,
Thanks for the chicken salad update. Sounds good. I can imagine the apple works well. I've had grapes before in chicken salad so I can picture apple being tasty.
