We've made it to Tuesday, what's on your plan?

Good morning! Jen, thanks for starting us off, I appreciate you! Yesterday went by fairly quickly with catching up and prep for payroll that starts later this week. The girl who has been out on maternity leave is supposed to be back Monday. I'm a little anxious/excited to see what the official plan will be for my role once she gets back and is back up to speed.

QOTD: I think it's too early for my brain to make such an important decision.

Oatmeal days

B: SF latte, orange, Quaker protein/fiber oatmeal and turkey sausage

L: Turkey stick, cheese stick, carrots, pudding, and a pear

S: Protein puffs, nuts, an apple and yogurt

D: Turkey sandwich, cauliflower rice, fruit and dark chocolate

ES: Greek yogurt and toast

E: I'm taking a rest day. I have been having a little pain in my ankle/foot so I wanted to give it a rest today.

I had to look up water cremation; it's fascinating. they are offering it here in Colorado now and have a whole tree fertilization approach with the left over water. I'm going to have to look into this more.

water cremation is interesting. I wonder what the cost is compared to traditional cremation? I looked but couldnt find the answer. I bet it is more since it is new and most likely trendy. The cost for burial services with casket, etc can be horrifying and cost prohibitive. I told my family to cremate me dont spend a bunch of money that will be buried in the ground.

It's way more sustainable than fire cremation. I think it's gaining popularity and hopefully, I will live long enough for it to be available when I go. I don't want to be embalmed (one of my besties is a mortician) and after knowing the process, I'm good. I am not going through eternity with orifices filled and just...NO.

Alkaline hydrolysis! I read about it, and I was instantly like YES, this is what I want.

I am on board with this if they will not take my body as a science donation. Either way is fine with me. Just don't put me in the ground.

Science donation is very selfless! Will you allow your body to be used for educational purposes? I remember when I was in anatomy and physiology we had cadavers that had already been dissected (I think the advanced student did this) but we were able to open up the body to see the anatomy. We were always instructed to treat the cadaver with respect.

Yes for sure. I have no problem with whatever they want to do with it. I definitely do not need it anymore. I am a big advocate of organ donation. Dad always wanted to be a cadaver but something after his death made him ineligible. Not sure what it was.

I've been hearing about it for awhile, but I don't know anyone who's done that - and I'm not sure if they do it around here. Since cremation in general keeps getting more and more popular, I suppose water cremation will as well. For one thing, it's not as bad for the environment...
