Thanks, Lana. It's good to see you back, I know it's been a hard week for you.

G'morning all!
Happy doggy!!! Luna is the same. Who cares what day of hud week it is, feed me and walk me and it's a good day for me!
Guys I had an episode yesterday that I hadn't had in almost a year. Because DH's buddy is still here last night we went to a Chinese restaurant. I usually order Kung Pao chicken with no rice. I don't know what overtook me that I ordered fried rice too. Well, I am happy to report that my tool is still working after almost 5 years. 3 spoonfuls of the rice along with Kung Pao chicken I started to feel sick. Not only that, I got the foamies and had to run to the bathroom. So yeah, my tool is still working and I am so happy about having had foamies...and no, I don't consider that or me weird!
QOTD: huh! I've raised teenagers, I'd rather be happy than right. According to them I was never right anyway. I also see it in my interactions with people, for certain things couldn't care less about being right as long as we are getting along and happy. Can't do it about politics though, if you agree with the previous administration then we don't have anything to talk about, we are in two different worlds that will never ever see eye to eye.
Here are some pics from last weekend trip down to SLO and visiting the museum Amy had mentioned. I liked the shaggy rugs the best.
This one specially gave me David Lynch vibes.
My meals yesterday :
- Coffee
- Protein puffs
- Fage yogurt, hb egg
- Chinese food disaster (see above)
- E: cardio + weight
Happy Fri-yay!

Yay for tools that still work. I don't think it's weird, although it's unpleasant I like the reminder which keeps me on the path (for awhile).
i would totally steal the one in your last picture!

I over indulged this week also. I didn't get the foamies (thank god) but I was sick to my stomach and it hurt. I have been really bad since my vacation then with all the family dinners due to my FILs funeral/death. I need a few weeks with strict eating and workouts to get my head back on right.

It is 15 years for me and I would still get the foamies from rice. I friend bought me some homemade spaghetti this week. I had a very small serving (about 1/2 cup) for dinner and was miserable all night with gas and cramping. I am throwing the rest of it away. Some things I will probably never be able to eat again comfortably. If you get a chance, look up the Jimmy Kimmel show from last night where he spoofs the interview with Piers Morgan. You will die laughing.
I believe that a new and better life started with the 2020 election and will survive despite the attempts to overthrow our democracy. Ben Franklin was right, "You have a republic, if you can keep it".
