Good morning, everybody!
I'm still as red as a lobster. The discomfort is starting to be less though. I think that today may be the day that I turn the corner.
I'm working in the city today, so I will probably be late. I don't have a lot to do and no real reason to be there except that we have committed to coming into the office one day a week. Thursday is my day. There is nobody who wants to meet with me, that would not prefer to do it by video conference. Also, since I was in Colorado on Monday and will be leaving for Spring Break Saturday, I have to cram a week of lifting and Crossfit into three days. That would be a lot easier to do if I was at home.
DS is going skiing today. This is his Spring Break. He had the visit with me last weekend and then skiing today, which is what he was aiming to do. Hopefully, it is a good restful break before differential equations resumes next week.
QOTD: When I was young, I would have said horizontal. Now, sleeping isn't as easy as it used to be. I prefer to be cool, covers on me but not over my feet and a couple of pillows. It still feel**** or miss.
Breakfast: sausage and cottage cheese
Lunch: steak
Dinner:chicken
Have a great day, all!

Not a great year for me - about 2800 of 4000 in my age group. Last year I was right in the middle. Getting better at double unders will be a goal for this year as soon as my toe heals.

I see the win as your enthusiasm and commitment to the activities in Cross Fit. Congratulations on just doing the challenge.

Good morning! Big shout out to Sheila for helping calm my nerves yesterday. I did better eating over all and limited myself to a single small pour of wine. Scale hates me again this morning. I'm hoping my one day indulgence didn't destroy weeks of work. But my pants still fit and I am back in the saddle and I'm taking that for the win right now.
Work is insane. Just insane. I had one major goal these last two years, and that was to leave the kids a vibrant, strong, diversified company. I am thinking I achieved these goals and I should just relax for the next week and enjoy the ride. But I won't. I love the work too much to cruise while I am here. So today will be head down and on task!
QoTD: Cool room, very dark, heavy blanket, heated blanket if it's cold outside and half a Xanax. This ADD brain has a hard time shutting down, so the Xanax gives me a little window of time to get my brain to shut up enough to nod off.
Menu: more of the same!
B: pork adobo and 1/3 c cottage cheese
L: pork adobo and 1/4 c refried beans, a little cheese, avo and sour cream
D: pork chops (bad planning) and haloumi, red onions, salad
S: chompie or quest chips if needed.
Peace Everybody!
