What's on your Monday Menu?
I did buy them from TJ, the first time, but then I found them at Costco at a much more reasonable price. I'd suggest try the TJ one to make sure you like it before buying a bunch at Costco.
From TJ I keep them in the fridge and use them like any regular tortilla. Toast them or microwave them...or however you would usually use your tortilla. They are the size of a street taco, so small.
Once I started buying from Costco, because there are so many, I freeze them two in a bag. Take them out the night before and put them in the fridge and proceed as usual. Recently I started using them for grilled cheese sandwich and they are goooood!
I also gotta say a regular person who can have a tortilla will not think these are good or tasty, but for me who hasn't had a tortilla in almost 5 years these are delicious.

Cool - thanks! I'll pick some up next time and give them a try - anything to mix things up.

I bought these for tacos. I rarely use them because they are just food carriers and pouch space takers but they taste good if you need that taco shell.

Good morning JB and everyone!
Not looking forward to today at all. I have an eye specialist appointment for testing. Which usually means 2-3 pokes to get the dye test. They dilate your eyes to oblivion or round about. After that they assault the eye with bright bright lights. Not my favorite things as it usually results in a headache. Oh well...it'll be good to get it out of the way. Hoping I don't have to get injections in my eyes this time round.
our dirtbag(i'm being generous) neighbor at that we had Mona(mama) for sure yesterday and didn't say anything. So i'm hoping it'll stay that way. They had a BBQ for four people last night and nearly caught his house on fire. Darn it it didn't do it. I bet they used a whole bottle of lighter fluid. I also bet the food tasted like lighter fluid. Ha. His case with the state was reduced to a state jail felony. I'm betting he'll get probation. Our justice system is crap...of course he had fentanyl in his stuff so we'll see. I'm not holding my breath.
I'm thinking of taking a social media break. I always say I will but then go back before I should. I feel I can't get rid of it completely as literally all my close-ish friends are on there. And of course my itty bit of chainmaille business I do on there. I need to bite the bullet and uninstall the FB app for a few days.
QOTD: I literally have zero local friends. I don't hang out with my crappy cousins anymore either. My best friend that lived in Tacoma, WA died mid year last year. We used to talk for hours all the time. It was nice to have someone who I could have long talks with about pretty much anything. I miss that terribly but also literally suck at making friends. I'm awkward and just plain weird. I'm fairly certain I am a little bit of the autism spectrum. Truly I do. It's incredibly weird for me to interact with people in person...sometimes online too. The last time I hung out with a friend was in 2012 or so when I went to Denver to see Green Day with her. I'm sad LOL

Mornin' All!
I think I'm going to go over to the Aqua Zumba class later this morning. I love it, but I've avoided it the last couple of months because too many people go to it and with the omicron surge - no thanks. But our county is now out of the critical stage and they're actually going to end the current mask mandate this week, so maybe it'll be OK. I'll just wear my mask and try to stay a good distance away from others (plus some of the "January joiners" at the gym may have given up my now - it seems like gym attendance starts really dropping off by March) (I've been going to another water aerobics class instead - that is, when I go. But it's regular water aerobics, not Aqua Zumba, and it's at 8:00 in the morning - so not nearly as many people go to it. It's easy to socially distance in that one).
I promised my friend who's moving to Chicagoland that I'd help her clean her apt this afternoon. Ugh. But I'm sure she would've done the same for me. Other than that, not much going on today.
QOTD: I don't really have a best friend right now, although I wish I did. I'm trying the Bumble BFF module again and just "met" a 56-year-old nurse at one of the hospitals whom I seem to have a lot in common with. Hopefully we can meet in person soon. Other than that, I do have several friends, but they're all casual friends. Our usual meet-ups are over lunch or coffee.

MS: protein shake
L: 1/2 C protein oatmeal with a thing of L&F creme brulee yogurt
AS: I'll be at my friend's house cleaning, so not sure. I'll probably take a protein bar with me
D: if I get down helping my friend in time, I'll make Instant Pot Rosh Jogan. Otherwise, probably another chik'n pattie on a slim bun (I love these - and they're on sale at Costco this week - yay!!)

Good morning, everybody!
22.1 was a struggle for me. I really tried to loosen up my shoulders, but getting my wrists to that 10 inch line was a battle for me on the wall walks. At least I was able to post an RX score which puts me in front of everyone who scaled. In any case, people were supportive and cheered me on, but I wish that I could have done better. The other two components weren't bad. 22.2 will be announced on Thursday evening.
Today is the end of February and the end of masking in Illinois! I'm ready for Spring. Four work weeks until we leave for Hawaii.
I started my online nutrition course. The first part dealt with metabolic disease. I know that subject matter pretty well, so no real surprises there. I can't figure out how to save the online guide to my computer, though.
Lots of cat talk this weekend guys. Just saying.
QOTD: Drink, golf, talk about sports and women. I don't see them that often.
Breakfast: Protein bar
Lunch: Butter chicken
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!
