Good morning and happy 2's day! It was a lovely long weekend and I enjoyed every minute! Hikes, golf, bowling, binge watching TV, reading and relaxing. Back to reality. Traffic was horrible this morning. Usually it takes 45 min-1 hour tops to get to work. Today? 1:45. I was waiting for a scene of an accident, but there wasn't one just 20-40 mph the whole way. At least it was moving.

QOTD - I love me a good meal on repeat, but permanent repeat? Nope - couldn't do it. I could however, seriously up my meal game with the free groceries and buy all the best stuff and eat like a Queen. Oysters, crab, lobster and tomahawk ribeye for everyone! Wine is a grocery, right?

Accountability - let's not talk about that, k?

B -coffee, eggbeater casserole, turkey sausage

l - chicken bites, cauli fried rice

d- Steak, salad w/FF balsamic

s-HB egg

Have a great day!

Wine is definitely grocery even here in SWAP. We just changed laws in last couple years they now sale wine and beer in a few stores. Our liquor stores are all state owned.

Prices are ridicules

Oregon has state run liquor stores, but you can buy beer and wine in the stores. They charge 100% tax on liquor, between that and pot sales they have made way more in tax revenues than they ever expected. My favorite fabric store was bought out by the pot industry, they have way too much cash to spend...

Liquor here is about half the cost of Oregon, but so far I've only bought some Tanqueray and Vodka. Too much of a wine drinker.

They don't have laws like that in CA. I remember when I moved here from MA, I was blown away that the grocery stores had huge beer and liquor sections. In MA they had package stores. I think you could get beer at a convenience store, but that was about it. They would chain them up at 11pm and on Sundays.

Yes. Also, all wine that is stored in glass is properly considered "a glass of wine." Those drinking from boxes or bags must account for their pours separately though.

Well here she is guys. We've always called her mama. We may change it but we haven't decided yet. It seems kind of late in the game to change it and we definitely don't want to call her but the name the asshole neighbor gave her.

Jim you crack me up that you can figure the cost of an annuity like that.

QOTD- If it were tax free I'd take the million.

I've been looking at houses in Oregon, I found one I totally love but it is really impractical. An 1895 Victorian with a turret. I've always wanted a Victorian. I keep going down the rabbit hole and wasting time on things I really shouldn't be doing.

Food has been OK, since I finally threw out the tortilla chips that I couldn't stay away from. What is it with salty foods that I crave them?

I'm having a hard time focusing on anything, I did this counseling program through my insurance company for stress and depression. The LCSW that I talked to said this program wouldn't really work for me since it's only an introduction to CBT. She is a horse person, told me that yes I'm depressed and stressed and that I should move back to Oregon and get another horse. I'm simplifying it since we talked for over an hour, but it did make me laugh.

I need to get back to work, but I think I'll go out and walk for a few minutes instead.

Have a great day everyone and stay warm!
