Good morning, everybody!
It's the first day of February. Thursday is actually halfway through winter (i think that I said Saturday previously) and Friday is the release of the Jack Reacher series. Eight work weeks until we go to Hawaii.
It wasn't really a conscious decision, but January ended up being a nearly non alcoholic month for me. Except the wedding. Two ****tails at brunch in New Orleans, some leftover champagne on Friday Happy Hour the week after, splitting two drinks with my son for the family happy hour Thursday and wine with dinner on Saturday night. Probably a good change after the holiday season. My eating started really good and tailed off with the travel last week. Back at it today.
I received a survey in the mail from Alaska and they want us to recall each fish that we caught each day that we were there. That is going to take some guesswork. I did call my son to try and get his input as well, but he has been busy. Cats in the cradle, I guess.
QOTD: No games. Last week, I played two days of where did i park my @#%&! car! We had to walk to brunch on Friday, because I though that it would take less time to do that than to find where on the third floor the rental car was. Friday evening I played again before finding an easy to remember spot Friday night.
Breakfast: protein bar
Lunch: Chili
Dinner: Hello Fresh
Have a great day, all!

To add to my embarrassment, the brunch the we had to walk to was with my uncle, who is literally a brain doctor. So after listening to a brunch's worth of Neuroscience, I had to explain to him that I needed to walk the garage, periodically squeezing my key fob, starting from the road in order to find my car.
