our university has a dairy store (three, actually) that serves ice cream (and has other things you can buy - like milk and cheese) and one of the most popular flavors is orange chocolate chip. It always sounded bizarre to me, but I got it once just out of curiosity - it was awesome! Who knew???

Oooh, thanks for that visual. You are right, it takes too much space. But, enjoy it and report back how you like it.

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

QJB so glad you are loving your job. Hopefully once you get everything into compliance there will be rest for they weary.

It is bitter cold here in PA and I am betting most of the country is on the colder side. Well everyone but Julia. So no plans for anything making me go outside. Nothing planned other than work. I can't wait to get home and get on my flannel PJ's and curl up in my lounger with the fireplace going.

QOTD: I attend to the mail daily. I only get a few snail mail bills and the rest are mostly advertisements. I do open junk mail to check if there are return envelopes because I use them for my grocery list and if I have coupons I can put them in so when I get to the checkout I do not forget them.

Accountability: 1 Pizzella with Coconut whipped topping a jerky stick, 100calorie dill cashews and some keto granola.

TSS: 4 years 1 month 16 days: 142.2LBS, (Lowest 129.4)

B: Coffee with SF CM cinnamon roll creamer

MS: Oikos salted Caramel Greek yogurt and berries

CB: Coffee with SF Cinnamon roll CM creamer

L.2 Eggwich and snack select

D: leftover Mississippi Pot roast and mashed heart of palm.

Exercise: 1/2 hour treadmill (Done)

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. sublingual B12 1x a week

Everybody Have a great day.

Brightest Blessings.

Chrissy

QOTD- I usually have the mail pile that moves from one desk to the other. I know some things I need to keep. It was easier when I was in my house I would walk past the recycle bin and dump stuff before it got into the house. I'm kind of disappointed that they don't recycle paper other than newspaper here, so it ends up in the garbage. I did clear my stuff that needs shredding it's now in a bag, so not really gone just more hidden.

I've got lots of work so I'd better get to it.

Have a great day everyone!

Mernin errybody, happy Friday Jr.

Breakfast - fasting, so hot black coffee and water

Snack - broke my fast with a French cruller - my boss brought donuts. SO GOOD!!!

Lunch - Greek food, yay! Beyond patty Greek style in a wrap, fries and salad

Dinner - up in the air, but probably a tofu scramble with vegan cheese on corn. My old standard

I hope you all have a great day!

Christina

Let it begin with me.

Mornin' All!

I just noticed a new class at my gym that's available virtually as well as in-person, so I'll do it virtually - "hop dance". Not sure what all this entails other than it's dance cardio, so I'm game! It's at 10:30 this morning. I signed up to watch some movie online this afternoon that some organization is sponsoring (can't remember any of the details, so I guess I'll be surprised!) - and then that new Ricardo movie (with Nicole Kidman) is being sponsored by AARP tonight - also online - so I'm watching that, too. So...that's pretty much my day.

So far so good with my two classes. The readings for the geography class are kind of interesting so far. The ones for this week are about ancient geology (so in other words, "physical geography"). I knew Wisconsin was once under a sea (as was much of the US), but I didn't know it was at one time slightly south of the equator. I also suspected that there was once a mountain range in the area, which covered northern Minnesota, northern Wisconsin, and northern Michigan. I noticed that when we did the Lake Superior circle tour about 20 years ago, because, although there are no mountains there, the terrain looked oddly similar to that in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It was especially noticeable in southern Ontario (right along the lake) - probably because there is pretty much nothing but wilderness between Thunder Bay and Sault Ste Marie, so the only things on my mind as we drove through were what the terrain looked like, and what on earth we were going to do if one of us happened to have a heart attack. Anyway, I later asked the geography librarian on campus if there was once an ancient mountain range there, and he said no - but then I read in my class readings last night about that ancient range, and I googled a map and sure enough, it extended into southern Ontario (or at least the part near Lake Superior). So there! I guess I should have asked a GEOLOGY librarian! The geography librarian I'd asked must have been more into cultural geography or something, and just didn't know...

QOTD: almost all of our bills are paid automatically, and the couple that aren't (which we only get maybe once or twice a year), at least ARRIVE online, so I pay them online manually. We do get paper copies as well for a couple of bills, but by the time they arrive, they've already been paid - so they just get shredded. We don't get much else of interest in the mail - usually junk or flyers - so those get dumped into the recycling bin.

B: plain skyr with cranberry/cherry compote, coffee with half & half

MS: this will probably be closer to lunch since I haven't even eaten breakfast (which is fine because that pushes lunch off until 1:00 or 2:00 - making it less likely I'll have a late afternoon snack attack). But....an iced latte made with Fairlife and SF syrup

L: protein muffin - and maybe a L&F yogurt or an ounce of gouda

AS: yogurt or a couple of keto "energy bites"

D: half a fake chicken patty on 1/2 a slim bun and some kind of vegetable

have a great day, everyone!

G'morning all!

Thank you all for your feedback about how to cancel munching noises. I went ahead and downloaded a white noise app because even using the AirPods canceling noise function was not enough while he was on a call. DH also wants y'all to know he is not an ogre! He still crunches his pretzels but he is not an ogre.

QOTD: most of the bills are on automatic pay. So the junk mail gets thrown into recycle bin between the walk from the mail box to the door. What happens to the envelopes after they get into the house is another story. They land on the entry desk for about 7-10 days until I get tired of looking at them. Then they get sorted into his and hers and end up on his or her desk. Once on his desk they enter the black hole that only he knows how to fish out of. The ones on her desk eventually get filed away appropriately.

My meals yesterday:

  • B: protein coffee
  • L: mex cauli rice + chicken bites
  • S: hb egg & 2 cups of hot cocoa (unsweetened but I added my sf syrup)
  • D: shrimp tacos (as usual swapped the tacos for my cauliflower thins)
  • E: 5 miles jog

Happy jr Fri-yay!
