I had a Bronco on Order, I got to drive one for a month last year ( Big Bend) when our edge was having the engine replaced, we did not like it as an every day driver,(I cancelled prior to my build/order) Soft top and was too noisy. Has Marilyn driven one?

Hers is a Hardtop. She probably doesn't do much highway driving. Her model is Badlands. She was able to drive it.

She got Badlands because she wanted the marine leather/washable floors package.

What year was your edge? I won a Lemon Law lawsuit against Ford. Mine is a 2019. I still feel as though it is not fixed correctly however I have a 10 year warranty so if there is any more trouble Ford will be responsible. I do not think my next car will be a ford.

We were moving load bearing walls and completely changing the floor plan. They had to close down our street to bring in a steel beam because I refused to have a pole (or a column) in the middle of the kitchen. So to be fair, we were not easy clients. At the end of the job we threw the workers a party (they were like family after being with us for 9 months), one of them toasted us saying we were the nicest anals he had ever met!! Oh, and we remodeled also two bathrooms along with the kitchen. But the kitchen really took 9 months to be completed and I wouldn't have it any other way. It's still one of my favorite rooms in the house.

When you post Kitchen photos I agree it was well worth it. The tile work alone is impeccable.

Mornin' All!

I have to take my mother to yet another doctor's appt today. Nothing else on the agenda, although I plan to do a lot of reading. I have a stack on my nightstand that's due or almost due, plus I just picked up the book for my next children's/young adult (YA) book discussion group meeting (this one is YA, so it'll take a little longer to read - but probably not too long..). I'm also anxiously awaiting my COVID test results. It's taking longer this time - but I'm not surprised since so many people are testing now. Also waiting to see what classes I'm approved to audit this semester. I submitted requests for another geography class and a class on urban history - both online. I may end up requesting a third - esp one that doesn't sound as interesting - because I have a feeling a lot of senior auditors are requesting to take online classes this semester, given the virus surge - and there just aren't all that many online classes available this year. Boo. Last year was like Christmas since pretty much everything was online - but now, no. It's back to normal..

QOTD: I hate wearing coats. Hate it. They're so bulky and it's hard to drive in them. Of course. living in Wisconsin, I have coats - my heaviest being a puffy down parka - but I don't wear them unless absolutely necessary. My standard "coat" is a huge (I think a men's 2X), somewhat beat up, oatmeal-colored wool blend sweater that comes halfway down my thighs and looks great with my leggings (and I wear leggings ALL the time). I can't remember if it was my father's or if I picked it up at some thrift shop years ago, but I love the thing, and I actually get a lot of compliments on it. My mother absolutely HATES it and last year she even gave me a new sweater that's about the same color, but I'm still wearing the old one. I think she finally gave up the ghost.

B: cheesecake-flavored yogurt pie with berry compote, coffee with half & half

MS: since I'm taking my mom to the doctor's, I'll probably eat a later breakfast and skip this - I'll have my usual protein shake or protein latte at lunch (drinking it before I eat, of course!)

L: the MS from above, plus part of a shrimp sushi roll

AS: a slice of malt loaf with Greek cream cheese, and maybe an ounce of gouda

D: small piece of chicken lasagna

I went to the store yesterday and bought apples, oranges, and raw veggies - and made hummus and a dip (made from granulated garlic and ranch dressing mix in plain Greek yogurt) so I'll have some safe-ish snacks just in case. I also have SF popsicles and can make some SF Jello. Ideally, I can control the urge or get out of the house - but sometimes, I can't...so hopefully having safer stuff around will help...(I really want to lose 10 lbs this year!!!)

Good morning all!

QJB-Glad to hear the job is going well.

QOTD: My favorite coat of all time was given to me from my grandfather. It was a herringbone knee length with a black fur collar. I was sick when my apartment got flooded and it got ruined. I've kept an eye out for a similar jacket but have yet to find one.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut, Tangerine. TJ cold brew coffee, unsweetened almond milk, sf vanilla, stevia.

L: Chicken Salad.

D: 2 Chicken skewers.

S: Light string cheese.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

JB I pray that you did not jump out of the pot and into the fire. I hope the commute time outweighs the amount of work they are piling on. I do believe you will get in under control in no time and as it becomes familiar you will be winning. Six months is absolutely way to long to go without HR with that amount of staffing. I'll be praying for you dear.

Todays Meme is how I been feeling since Late November. I do think I turned a corner today though. My plan is to be back on track with both food and exercise.

QOTD: I have a full length Italian made leather coat that when I looked it up on line was over $1000 and I got it for $5 at a rummage sale.

Accountability: I came home from bible study and ate tons of Nuts salami and cheese. Not good.
