What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
hi all
Yesterday I ran a few errands after work which was nice except the rain was a bummer. there was coffee involved and some sourcing for the business so that was fun.
QOTD: keys only go in one spot in the house so its easy to find.

Enjoy the snow day! You should take a break -- it's clear your leadership realizes downtime with unexpected cir****tances is actually responsible for more productivity and better results in the long run. We expect people to be machines way too much these days.
QOTD - no, I have spots for most things -- but I do have to go through the house a few times and find out where I last left my phone which is almost always silenced so find it is interesting.
I have a personal training session this afternoon; a relatively light meeting day so I can get a lot done. This weekend will be good; we were supposed to go see a play tomorrow but no one is willing to sit in a theater with 200 of our closest strangers -- I am suspecting that we might get a cancellation notice since the play opened on Tuesday and they are seeing 3-4 day incubation rates. If they cancel, we get a refund; if not, it's sunk costs but oh well.
menu today
coffee plus half and half X 3
Gf English muffin with PB
yogurt
falafel
photos are one the my friend's nephew took when they were able to get back into the fire zone that just resonated with me and my amaryllis that started to bloom yesterday.

In answer to your first paragraph, I am so hopeful for the younger generation. DD works in a non profit organization for women's rights. When she went back to DC the first day of work was snow day. I asked her what is it to her if she wfh. She put me in my place :
because when the federal gov is closed we close, and we don't do mandatory telework during inclement weather or regional emergencies.
Oh snap!

It is true! I am so often telling my team, don't do these things, be off when you are off, have better boundaries than me. I am working on mine too, lol

Mernin' y'all, happy Friday!
QOTD - I don't typically lose things, but, this house likes to "take things". I usually get them back if I ask/demand nicely.
Breakfast - coffee
Lunch - tofu/bean scramble on tortilla
Snack - fruit/kale smoothie with cashew milk and chia seeds
Dinner - leftover penne alla vodka and salad from last night.
I hope you all have a great day, and weekend as well!
The pics below are from Dec. 16th work event, kayaking on the SA River. I thought these were pretty good.
