What's on your Tuesday Menu?
hi all, yesterday ran some errands, got the booster, came back and cooked dinner. Meals seem to be planned today since they are all prepped food.
QOTD: i have not seen any of the new disney/pixar movies. I have seen the marvel ones on disney plus. I've never seen ET. It freaked me out a little growing up so never watched it. I've also never seen all of amenityVille horror, deliverance, one flew over the cukoo's nest, most horror movies.
Food today:
b: oat/chia concoction, coffee
s:
l: turkey patty with zuchinni bake

Grim's daughter is still terrified of ET (she's in her 30s) and we make fun of her so hard. Sometimes he will see it on TV and call her excitedly and tell her to turn on channel XX and she gets so pissed. It's just a hilarious running joke at our house, haha.
I'm still waiting to hear from insurance companies about my car. I called a body shop to see if I could get an estimate and they wouldn't be able to fix it until mid January. I took my wheelchair out of the trunk at the police station filing the accident report and now the trunk won't close. So I currently have my trunk taped down and my rear brake light taped up so I can drive still. I'm thinking I'm going to look for a rental car and hope I will be reimbursed. I don't feel comfortable driving my car in it's current condition.
QOTD: The Lord of the Rings Movies
B: Dannon light and fit cherry yogurt, banana
L: BBQ ribs no sauce
D: pp coffee shake
HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

Rentals have become very expensive. When my car was in the shop for a week, it would have run me more than $100 a day and I would not have been reimbursed, since it was mechanical failure, not an accident. It was much cheaper to pay for delivery service and take an Uber if I really needed a ride.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
5 a.m., pitch dark, cold as heck and raining. Good morning San Diego! I just could not sleep last night. Not sure if my booster had anything to do with it, but I don't really have any side effects so far. Just not 100%. I knew work was a hot mess yesterday, so I thought well, if I can't sleep -- I'll go work. So here I am. Starting my day with 49 new emails. Not awful.
I did great on accountability again yesterday. Made a great dinner using spaghetti squash. My pouch has been a small one the last couple of days, so we'll see what it's like today. I woke up hungry. That usually means I am truly hungry and need to fuel myself. But I'm seeing if the coffee will help and I'm just dehydrated. I HATE to eat to early, because then I am messed up for the whole day. I don't like it when things are not as planned. I had a productive day yesterday with closet cleaning, laundry, talking to the boss for 2.5 hours. All things that needed to be dealt with. Today is bonus day at our company, so the one thing I can be sure of is everyone will be in a good mood today!
QoTD: I miss a ton of movies I want to see and rarely circle back to them. We see most of the Pixar/Disney ones because we make them date nights with the grand girls. Next up, Sing II. The original was adorable, so we are looking forward to that. I still want to see the new James Bond movie, Gucci and several others. Maybe a movie date night this week....
Menu:
B: left over chicken sausage with spaghetti squash, a bit of mozz, a bit of marinara. I also had roasted cauliflower and bell peppers, so they are in there too!
L: left over chicken breast, butternut squash and a few potato bits
D: roasting a chicken on a bed of sweet potatoes
Peace Everyone!

Good morning QJB and menu folks. Sounds like the perfect day JB, minus the eating, but you are aware and today will be different. I need to plan when I am out and about or I do the same. We need to load up on protein snacks as the cupboards are bare.
Last week I mentioned we purchased a Christmas tree for MIL, she decided that she did not like it. Was a slender, modern tree and it fit her place perfectly. Joddie swapped the tree for a new one and last night we went over to set it up and decorate. LOL.
Dinner last evening was an epic fail and I will leave it at that, if we were going to eat unhealthy we should have just ordered out.
*** Edit to add QOTD - We do no****ch television very often. I happened to notice that an old movie ( Far from a classic) was playing on Sunday - Slap Shot - a Hockey Movie that I will always laugh during. I did no****ch it, but plan to watch over the Holidays as I am off 12/24 - 01/03
B - Greek light and fit and Blueberries
S - Aldis Elevation bar
L - Chef salad
AS - Turkey and cheese stick
D- MIL birthday so am unsure what we will do
Stay healthy my friends, Mike

LOL! Greg had some picture at one time that - although it wasn't like this - was similar in that the subject probably appealed to only a very small minority of people (honestly, it's been so many years I can't even remember what it was a picture of). I told him he could hang it in the garage. It was never hung - not sure what happened to it (it's probably in the attic or at the landfill!)
That is funny, my Brother has been a HS Hockey coach in Mass for 25+ years and met Steve Carlson many years ago. To this day the movie makes me laugh!
