Overeating
agree with others on the measuring. once you are further out you may not have to weigh your food. Get a good food scale off amazon, they are usually $10. I weigh in grams not measuring cups.
my stomach makes a flipping feeling and I know i only get a couple more bites. If i overeat i feel crappy. also if i eat the wrong foods i feel crappy.
if you haven't looked at bariatric mindset website it could help/ or a therapist. There is usually something surrounding the need the eat more or too often or non ideal foods. for me it was anxiety and boredom.
I weigh everything, and I've just learned how much my pouch will tolerate. I know it's different for everyone, but for me if I do that last bite I will be in misery. So I try to make sure not to do it. But I'm probably not typical I honestly don't really have any hunger, I just know by the way I'm feeling if it has been too long since I've eaten. It's the kind of weakness and emptiness, when I feel that I know it's time to eat. I try to eat at the same time every day, and if I do feel like I need something I'll have a snack between meals. I try to make sure I get my protein in, and water especially now living in a tropical climate. I also eat slowly.
I would definitely talk to your doctor, or surgeons office if you are still in contact with them. Good luck!

I agree that there may be an emotional component also - certainly in my case .
I learned as a child suffering from constant internal pain ( acid reflux ) to comfort myself and lessen the pain by eating when I wasn't hungry.
If I'm overtired, worried, stressed or even bored ... I immediately think of eating
