What's on your Tuesday Menu?
During pandemic it became painfully apparent that many of the people who get paid to watch others work and make sure that they are doing what they are supposed to do are no longer needed. It is the supervisor people who are insisting that people come into the office, because they are fighting to keep their jobs.

Yuck JB! Just yuck! I think my town is to big for me! I could not make it with that kind of traffic and hustle and bustle! I hope things will improve for you over all soon!
I'm listening to music this mornin. Just heard a new(er) volbeat song and I forget how much I can enjoy their music. It's not my absolute favorite but it's fun to do house work to. Always has a fun beat.
I'm also hurting really bad since yesterday. I'm really miserable but I'm trying to ignore it. Music plays in there too. I have my playlist on shuffle and repeat lol. Slipknot has a new single so that's nice too!
Lots to do today. Pick up prescriptions and my mom wants to go to the thrift store of course.
QOTD: a newer Christmas themed sleep shirt in a huge size...it has gnomes on it and is red with white snowflakes. It's just from Walmart.
B: half a muffin and coffee
L: stew leftovers, sour cream and a pinch of cheese
D: ???
S: ???

Mornin' All!
Taco Bell is on your bucket list? You can probably scratch that one off. It's not that it's horrible, but...let's just say if I never go there again (and it's been years since I've been to one), that would be fine with me!
my brother has spent the last two nights at my mom's apt. He's leaving this morning to go back to NC, so we're all meeting up at a coffee place before he hits the road. Other than that, no plans for today - although I need to do weights. I also might get out on my bike this afternoon if it's not too windy. It's supposed to get up to 50 degrees F, which is fine for biking. It's one of the few cardio exercises I like, so I try to do it whenever I can...especially now since the season is pretty much over.
QOTD: the nightshirt I've mentioned before - I bought it at the Kent State bookstore back in the 80s, but was unable to wear it for about 20 years because of my weight. I love the thing even though it's showing its age.
I'm feeling really bloated this morning - I think it's a combo of all the fiber I've been eating lately to keep myself from overeating (!) plus too many restaurant meals lately. I haven't had any huge blowouts, but there have been too many days of going over my range. Fortunately, we've got nothing this week, so it shouldn't be too hard to get back on track. I may try to do mainly protein shakes today - this bloating is super uncomfortable, so eating is pretty much the last thing on my mind.
B: protein shake
MS: iced latte made with 2% milk and SF syrup (at the coffee place)
L: if I feel like food at that point, maybe half a miso/chickpea sandwich
AS: protein shake or some Greek yogurt
D: ???
have a great day, everyone!
Good Morning! JB- sorry to hear about the rough day yesterday. I hope that your day is better today and that your vision is improving. You aren't missing out on anything not having Taco Bell. I started training the new person yesterday and she seems like she's going to fit in well and do an awesome job.
QOTD: I'm wearing grey sweats and and A's T-shirt cuddled under a blanket sipping on my coffee. I took a rest day from exercise, the last few days I've been having an issue with my ear and I was off and on awake since around 1 or so, every time I would fall back asleep I'd roll over on that side and wake up because it hurt. I should have just gotten up and taken Tylenol but I would try and go back to sleep.

Kelly, I meant to ask, did you watch Moneyball? What did you think? I only watched parts, but Marilyn really liked it.
