Whats on your Thursday Menu?
I can relate to this. Years ago I had a colonoscope the same day as a Springsteen show. I told the doctor do not give me Anastasia because I planned on drinking that evening. He was blown away that I did not want it so I could still drink. Needles to say the concert rocked.

I'm not sure how did you managed colonoscopy without sedation My very first, they gave me only a twilight, and of course "I woke up" during the procedure, but I couldn't talk. I felt the probe inside me, heard them talking. It was really bad experience. And painful.
My next gastro wanted to do colonoscopy, and I agreed only after he told me they are doing full anesthesia not twilight. He had to many people complaining about waking up. And he said "Even if just one of my patient wakes up, that's one too many."

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
Queen JB welcome back glad your feeling better. Hope you have improved vision as well. I think you should take off tomorrow too and start anew on Monday.
Melody you got me super curious and I added all the lemon fudge ingredients to my shopping list. Lemons my Moms favorite so I am excited to try this.
Today I got nothing except a haircut and color after work. The weather has been in the high 60,\'s all week but tonight I think a cold front comes in and we are looking at rain over night. That will put a cramp in my run game but I got the treadmill ready if need be.

G'morning all!
QJB - wow, you poor thing. You've been put through the wringer recently. One thing after another. Hope you feel better soon and your full vision is back.
For those of you who jog, have you ever listened to a spooky story while jogging? A friend had recommended a Stephen King book to me. As most of you might know I run in the woods; nothing scarier than being in the darker area of the woods, and in the story in your ear the main character is going down the steps of the basement and there is a ghost answering his questions. The whole time I kept looking around me thinking something is gonna jump out at me. Never saw the woods as scary but yesterday I was very happy to be back in the car.
QOTD: I'll give up cheese and choose chocolate. I love cheese and it kinda replaced chocolate after WLS. But if I have to choose which one to live without, it would be cheese. I'll be forever faithful to my beloved chocolate.

- B: coffee
- L: TJ veg garden soup and I added chicken meatballs to it.
- S: quest chips + aged havarti
- D: shrimp stir fry
- E: 10K jog

I use to listen to music when I walked but got tired of hearing the same songs over and over. I use audible and have listened to a couple ot Stephen King books (The Institute was good). Now I am on to the Game of Thrones Series which I really like. I have never watched the shows.

When I started running I listened to music but like you I got tired and the music didn't hold my attention, so my mind was more on my miserable miles. Once I switched to audibles (4-5 yrs ago) I took off. The more intriguing the story the better I run. I finished the Institute recently (and liked it a lot) and the friend recommended Bag of Bones. I don't like King's gory stories but these science fiction or paranormal ones I like. I loved 11/22/63.

I also read Needful Things which is paranormal. I will give Bag of Bones. I have it purchased and the Green Mile. I will look into 11/22/63.
