No this is our home that we had a dog sitter come to last week for our trip!

We can't file another home owners claim due to this house having a couple when we first moved in 3 years ago.

Wow do you think they set you up? Why would you flush paper towels. Or anything besides toilet tissue for that matter.

You could take her to a small claims court and recover some money. At least the insurance deductible and some other cost.

Mornin' All!

my brother got in about 6:00 pm last night. He spent the night here and this will be his "base" this week, but he does plan to move around a little since everyone wants to host him. Which makes it a little difficult for me to plan things since i don't know when exactly he's going to be here. Today I have a luncheon from 11:30-1:00 and a Zoom board meeting at 5:00 - and I also need to get some exercise. Hopefully he'll go visit my mom or sister at some point today so I can go to the gym (too cold to bike) - otherwise I guess I can drag him along or do some youtube video. It seems like the older I get, the more I like routine - so this will be a weird few days.

I had that InBody weigh in yesterday. I don't know how accurate these things are (although probably moreso than home scales that do body composition). It said I gained 2 lbs since the last weigh in (and since a day or two before, too - so I'm assuming it was water), but 7 lbs of fat. In six weeks. After losing a few lbs of fat for the last weigh-in six weeks ago. WTF? How can this be since I've been doing weight training religiously? At the worst, you'd think I'd be the same. I think this thing is a little off. I should probably have another DEXA scan to see where I'm at, because now I'm curious. I had one about five years ago and was 15 lbs lighter at the time - so I really am wondering where things stand. I know those tend to be one of the most accurate ways of measuring fat percentage, so...

QOTD: well, this is a little tough because I like both - but I guess I'd give up the chocolate. I crave chocolate more than I do cheese, but on the other hand, chocolate cravings (for me anyway) tend to go away if I'm away from it long enough - and cheese is in so many dishes that I think I'd find that more limiting.

B: plain skyr with 1/2 diced apple and a squirt of SF "maple" syrup, coffee with half & half

MS: may actually eat a real thing (high in protein and/or fat) rather than the standard protein shake so I don't risk blowing it at the luncheon. Maybe a protein muffin or a piece of 35-calorie bread with peanut butter on it.

L: fish tacos (pretty sure it's grilled fish, so I should be OK...)

AS: protein shake, if needed

D: I'm not sure because I don't know where my brother will be or if there are family dinner plans. If I'm here - with just me and DH - I'll probably have some leftover Madras lentils

have a great day, everyone!

Why let your brother's schedule (or lack thereof) dictate your day? If he's capable of driving from NC to WI and running marathons, I'm sure he could entertain himself while you're gone!

true - although if I'm going to be away for a couple of hours, he'd probably rather spend that time with another family member since we don't get to see each other all that often. We'll get it figured out. He does know about the luncheon today, so he's going to go over to my mom's around 11:00. I imagine he'll be there for a few hours, so I can get to the gym this afternoon, too...

Mernin' errybody, happy Friday Eve!

QOTD - Cheese, hands down.

Breakfast -fasting, so hot black coffee and water

Lunch - we are having kickball for our company, so lunch will be from a food truck. -_- I don't know that much will be veggie friendly except for fries so, I brought a kale smoothie, tomatoes, pepitas and some blueberries and a kind bar.

Dinner - dunno???

I have gained 10lbs since taking Lexapro, which I am very unhappy about. I am up to 133 this morning and not feeling great about it. To be fair, I've been sick, off my fasting, dealing with a mom who just had major surgery but these are all excuses. So holding myself accountable and putting it here. Really going to work hard on each pound.

I hope you all have a great day!

Christina

Let it begin with me.
