G'morning all!
We had some rain yesterday but we should have sun for the rest of the week. That is good because we are going to a wedding on Sat...on the beach...in Nov. Can you see my eye roll? It's the second wedding for both and they have 5 kids between the two of them so it will be a Brady bunch. The groom is a big wave surfer (50 feet waves) hence the beach wedding. I just hope it's not too cold. I'm always flummoxed about my shoe wear on the beach when I'm dressed for a wedding. Am I supposed to ruin my shoes on the sand, or go barefoot on the sand and then put them on when we go to the reception? But then what do I do with my ugly dirty sandy feet? DH who practically lives in the sand says just rub the sand off on a towel when we get back in the car. I'm more worried about my shoes when I put my toweled off feet back in the shoes like a savage surfer.
QOTD: except for picking the pumpkins from a pumpkin patch and decorating the house for Halloween, nothing else. Now that I think about it what are fall activities that other people do?
My meals yesterday
- B: coffee
- L: TJ Mexican cauliflower rice + chicken bites
- S: Fage yogurt
- D: Pineapple chicken meatballs
- E: 30 minutes cardio + 60 minutes weight training
Happy hump day!

Yeah, a beach wedding sounds like the stuff of nightmares to me! How about taking baby powder to help get the sand off your feet really well? But then you also have to be really careful not to get the powder on your clothing.... nightmare!

Oooh, baby powder is a great idea! Thanks!

Bring two towels and a couple gallons of water. Wipe off sand, make DH rinse your feet (so you don't get splashed on your wedding attire), dry off and then into the nice shoes.
or go with an embellished pair of platform flip flops, lol?

I like the idea of him kneeling in front of me and cleaning my feet!!!
You def think like a surfer, because he always has gallons of water in the car to do improvised showers after he gets out of the water.
