Good morning everyone, good luck today JB! So sorry to hear about that incident, how completely horrifying! Prayers to her.
Not much planned for the day. Just need to get a prescription. I'm really hurting this morning and didn't get much restful sleep. Hoping for a nap sometime today.
I'm done with Christmas shopping. The only things I've got left to do is make a few things and get a few cards. I'm just giving money to my brother & SIL. I am doing little treasure boxes for the kids. Randall is getting a lunch box since there was no little boxes for boys. He'll like it though...it's Minecraft. I ordered a lot of geodes that have already been cut. They are CRAZY over rocks and crystals. They are not super special rocks but I think they'll love them. I got them all a watch...pens and other various things. Also making ornaments with their picture inside with a few fillers gotten from the dollar tree.
QOTD: no doubt the instant pod coffee machine. We don't use a lot of appliances really...though we have a lot of them! I guess the second would be the kitchen-aid stand mixer.
B: half a muffin and coffee
L: likely a slice of GF bread, slice of ham, cheese and a low carb protein cookie
D: again...no clue.
S: protein puffs & ???
my pics are a random assortment from the past.
Mel

Thank you!
I guess I'm done so early because of the upcoming surgery on December 21st. I just want to make sure I don't have to rush!

Mornin' All!
I got up early this morning - before 5:00 - to make skyr. It's not a busy day, but I've got a couple of chunks of time when I'll be out and about, so I have to schedule the skyr around them. It would have been even more challenging tomorrow.
so Aqua Zumba plus a Costco run this morning - and lunch with a friend at noon. We're meeting at one of those authentic taquerias with the meat/onion/cilantro tacos on 4.5" tortillas. I love the place, and the portions are perfect!
that story about the principal is horrendous. I don't know what is going on with people - is this going to end after we're through this pandemic? If not, this is really frightening!
the photo is of my cat at the veterinary ophthalmologist's office yesterday. I got his newest drops on Wednesday afternoon (took over a week to get them - shipping issues, of course...), and she wanted to see how those worked before doing the cornea-roughening procedure. Sounds like a good plan to me - a relief, actually. He has a follow-up in a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed.
B: cheesecake-flavored yogurt pie with blueberry compote, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: 1-2 of those small tacos
AS: nothing if I eat two tacos - otherwise, maybe a protein muffin
D: chickpea/miso sandwich with some kind of vegetable
have a great day, everyone!
P.S. I went to a spinning (i.e., indoor cycling) class last night. Not sure I liked it - and it was TOUGH, but I should probably give in another chance or two... Definitely a good workout!
I think those tacos are called street tacos. They are my favorite.
