Good Morning! Happy Friday-Eve! Wow, yesterday was pretty chaotic considering we were running ahead of schedule for the payroll but goes to show sometimes things just pop up. I can at least say it would have been worse had we not been "ahead" so that's my silver lining.

The week of no coffee post op made that first cup of cafe au lait so delicious! I'm pretty solidly at 3 cups a day now, for a while there it was more like 8 but I found balance, lol.
I hope today is a better day for you!
QOTD - I am excited for a FaceTime call with my cousins in Oz tomorrow, seeing Dune with a friend on Saturday. Glad your sofa is coming in today, the wait has been long (also, reminder to everyone the supply chain will continue to be problematic, plan for the holidays early....those last minute options are going to be slim).

Have a great jr Friday all!

So jealous you are gonna see Dune. I have loved Timothée Chalamet since "beautiful boy" and "call me by your name." I still don't feel comfortable going to a movie theatre. I hope they stream it soon.

Mornin'!
looks like we're in store for a cold, rainy day - ugh. I need to do some kind of exercise - probably some youtube video since I don't see anything at the gym - in person or virtual - that looks intriguing. I HAVE to go out to visit my person I'm the legal guardian for today since I'm a couple weeks overdue for a visit. I also plan to do reading for my class, study Italian, and go to a book launching this evening.
QOTD: hockey game this evening and my trip to Italy in the spring (hopefully it'll be a "go" this time!)
B: plain Greek yogurt with cranberry/cherry compote, 2 light rye Wasa crackers, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: cottage cheese with 1/2 diced mango, piece of peanut butter toast
AS: skyr with rasberries
D: chicken skewer and "veggie bites"
have a great day, everyone!
I'm a (volunteer) court-ordered legal guardian. I volunteer for an aging agency in town that works mostly with indigent populations. The people who are assigned guardians (by this agency -- and approved by the court) usually have no family - or if they DO have family, it's usually very dysfunctional or there isn't anyone in the family who wants the responsibility.
anyway, if you can think of anyone to take over your son's guardianship after you're no longer able to, be sure to let that be known. Otherwise, the court can assign a legal guardian for him. At minimum, there'll need to be someone to do things like approve medical procedures and treatments if he's unable to do that himself.
