I second the Sith cheer leader and I wanna see pics.

Mornin' All!
The rain isn't starting until this afternoon (and will continue tomorrow), so I think I'll bike over to the gym after breakfast to do weights. Might as well bike when I can since there won't be many days left - after that I can go back to youtube videos and virtual classes. This afternoon I need to go get my mom so she can do her errands (she doesn't drive anymore) and swing by my niece's apt to see the new cat she got yesterday. If I have enough energy, I'll go out to one of the ex-burbs to visit the woman I'm a guardian for, since I'm overdue for a visit (I got distracted for awhile by my MIL's stuff) - otherwise I'll run out there tomorrow - but I really have to do it this week. Next week I'm way busier, so I need to check some things off my list now while I have a lot more time.
QOTD: we're big party poopers when it comes to Halloween. I haven't dressed up in years, and we leave the house or hide somewhere and don't answer the door during trick-or-treat hours (although not many people ring the doorbell since we have the outside lights off). I have nothing against Halloween - it's just too much of a pain with all the cats -- and then there's leftover candy to deal with. Nope.
I need to work more (healthy) fat into this and upcoming menus. Of all the macros that supposedly help combat hunger (protein, fiber, and fat), fat seems to be the most effective for me.
B: pumpkin yogurt with 2 T light Cool Whip and 2 T granola. Coffee with half & half.
MS: protein shake (I'll add 1/4 of an avocado)
L: pumpkin muffin with light cream cheese
AS: not sure. Maybe two protein powder/peanut butter balls? Or peanut butter on 35-calorie Aldi's bread
D: chicken skewers and "veggie bites" with tzatziki sauce
have a great day, everyone!

Enjoy the nice weather and bike ride! Do you have a stationary bike or one of those stands that lets you use your bike indoors? I bet you could find some great virtual rides on YouTube!

Good morning, everybody!
I was supposed to go into the office today, but I couldn't get out of bed. Stayed up too late watching TV, I guess.
Tomorrow, we are headed out to Colorado to see DS. I imagine that we will have dinner out tomorrow night. My son has school on Friday during the day, so we will have to keep ourselves amused. Friday night is the concert (at Fiddler's Green, not Red Rocks). I think that Saturday he is going to take us down to the area where he tried to camp and show us around. We return to Chicago on Sunday.
QOTD: Marilyn and my youngest are away that weekend, looking at colleges, so I am not sure what I am going to do. Probably just read and hand out candy to the kids who come by. This will be my fourth Halloween since surgery. I had my first candy this summer, while we were fishing. It was in our packed lunches. I didn't feel bad about eating it because standing thigh deep in freezing in cold water for 8 hours casting probably burns a zillion calories. It didn't make me sickout also didn't make me crave it either. But I'm still staying away, too much history.
Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese
Lunch: Brisket
Dinner: Mahi burger
Have a great day, all!

Have you been to garden of the gods on any of your visits? It's so pretty, if you haven't, I recommend it one of the trips!

Yes, we made it there last year. Amazing. And DD was ecstatic because they had Dutch Bros. coffee there. We haven't been to RMNP yet, hoping to get there at some point.

I am a fan of Dutch Bros myself:-)
RMNP is just past the times ticket requirement (it runs may to mid October) so if you get the chance to head up there, it's awesome. The brunch at the Stanley is pretty good too

Good Morning Jen and Menuers,
I am so into the Meme this morning as I sip on my Pumpkin flavored coffee. The other day my DH said he wasn't a big fan of Pumpkin but I think he just meant pumpkin creamer in his coffee because I had to remind him of the Pumpkin cheesecake, Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin roll , Pumpkin cookies and pumpkin bars I make this time of year and he gobbles up. So he finally agreed that he does love a little pumpkin.
I do not think I will be as stressed today at work as I was the last 2 days which is good because I have not been able to read the paper all week and I need to catch up on the obituaries and Police beat just in case I am missing something. Tonight I am meeting my old gym partner for dinner. I quit the gym during the pandemic and now I run and do a hit class so no reason to pay for PF anymore. I officially went in and stopped my membership. It was dumb to pay for something I was not using. I liked it when they had classes but now they don't have those I don't get excited enough to go.
QOTD: Yes ! The long time announcer for the Pittsburgh Penguins is retiring. His name is Mike Lang and he was so good he was officially inducted into the NHL hall of fame. He was known for his quirky goal calling skills. One of his go to's for Mario was He's smiling Like a butcher's dog. So DH will be the butcher and I will be his dog. Now I just need a dog costume. We got the butcher attire do to the fact my brother is a for real butcher.
Accountability: I had 2 pumpkin Biscotti (again)
TSS: 3 years 10 Months 7 days: 140.2 LBS, (Lowest 129.4)
B: Coffee with SF CM Pumpkin spice creamer
MS: Fair life Salted Caramel Protein, and Apple
CB: Coffee with SF CM Pumpkin spice creamer
L. Mississippi pot roast ( I have a little left) and a small amount of chicken salad and Snack Select
D: Shawarma. Probably chicken since it gets the good gralic sauce.
Exercise: 3.1 mile run (Done)
Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. sublingual B12 3x a week
Everybody Have a great day.
Brightest Blessings.
