My friend's mother was driving us to Junior High in her pj's. Her car broke down on the way home and she had to get out to get help. She stopped taking us to school in her pj's after that happened.

Sixty years ago there were no cellphones and she had to walk to a pay phone to call for help.

Good Thursday morning! I had to double check the calendar because it doesn't seem like Thursday. I'm anxious to go to the gym and work out, I had a bad dream last night and need to re-compose myself.

QOTD: I used to wear my pj's out occasionally, but not anymore. I did it because I was comfortable with where I was in life and didn't care, but now I prefer to look presentable and dressing myself gives me more confidence. I believe my city has a ban against parents wearing pj's to drop off/pick up kids from school. There was a huge debate if yoga pants should be on that list, but I think it didn't pass because some people go straight to the gym, such as myself.

B: 3 slices of turkey, banana, strawberries

S1: string cheese

L: tuna and noodles, corn

S2: yogurt

S: salad, fish, garlic bread

S3: cottage cheese

We have a similar policy here in some of our school districts. Seems too many Mama's were getting out out of their cars in nearly nothing. Boobs out, butts out. I remain amazed that something like that has to be regulated.

I looked into it and it's not a law, but it's highly frowned upon. I live in Dubuque Iowa. What I don't get is, I picked my teen up from high school and a beautiful girl was wearing daisy dukes that practically revealed her private. She should have been immediately sent home. Sad thing is I have no room to judge, because I once wore daisy dukes.
