What's on your Monday Menu?

Hello Monday! We meet again... Hope you all had a fantastic weekend! Mine was okay--pretty low key. I never even left the house (!) and did a lot of Kitty Therapy for the two fighting brothers. It took about 48 hours for them to get back to "normal" but by mid-day on Sunday they were friends again. What a weird few days! We also binge watched season 2 of Ted Lasso and did some necessary house cleaning and of course...work. But I napped 3 times on Saturday which is literally unheard of for me, so last week really knocked me out, I guess. I did some planning for this week about how to utilize my resources at work a little more effectively, and I am going to try to be better about asking for help.
QOTD: Who is the most upbeat optimistic person in your life? I love Ted Lasso (please find a way to watch this show if you haven't already!)--he is such a happy gem of a guy, and I realized he actually reminds me a lot of my uncle (mom's younger brother). I'm very lucky to have such a sweet, kind, loving and generous family member in my life!
Food this weekend was fine. I was completely out of food and instead of leaving the house, I did an instacart order for Costco which was stupid because I couldn't judge the size of the packages... FYI, 5lbs of chicken is a LOT of chicken, lol. So that was what I ate all day Sunday and will continue to eat for days and days straight.
B: Protein Coffee

Good mornin JB and all the menu crew.
My weekend was LLLLLOOOOOOOOOONG. One good thing is that my brothers MIL is going to watch the kids after school today.
I'm very anxious ridden this morning. I see the first neurosurgeon today at 11am central time. I could use some calming thoughts being sent my way. I don't know why I'm so nervous but I am. Hopefully there won't be a super long wait until the next neurosurgeon will see me.
Th party yesterday was ok. Randall liked his cake and forgot about it just about as quickly as the first present being opened! Esp after the video games were opened. Thankfully they ration out his game time well. He'd be on it 24/7 if they'd let him.
QOTD: sadly not many and not just one that I can point out. I'm an optimistic person for other folks but I'm pretty hard on myself...ok VERY hard on myself.
B: coffee and a protein bar
L: butternut squash soup and chicken breast meat
D: no idea...may be a PP shake
S: L&F yogurt and ???

Once I get paid I'll be buying more meat for the month. I'm thinking of making my own breakfast sausage.

Oh, I love Ted Lasso, it's just so nice. My weekend was very good; I have a short week this week so it will be an insanely busy 4 days. I did do some adventuring so will have some good pix for photo Friday. I also have a hair appointment tonight so yay!
QOTD - by luck and by design, most of my orbit is full of positive people, I don't do well with pessimists and Eyeores but would say that two of my nephews are the brightest, sunniest people I know.
Greateight - your son wasn't the Mines student that had to be rescued from a mine this weekend, I am hoping?

It's gorgeous anytime of year but definitely in the fall. I think if people realiZed how much of the ground underneath them is honeycombed with mines, they would be surprised
