REVISION 4/10/23 - HW 240 SW 225 CW 164 GW 155
Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers.
Oh that Meme. I'd eat them both!! However (Do not hate me Jim) I would dip the fried ones in Mayonnaise. I loved that crap pre-op. I saw Madison Rose popped on last week. Always nice when people you do not see for while drop by.
So the Taco party was a success. Everyone loved it and I had a wonderful but busy weekend. I did run a 5K Saturday to find out this is normally a March event hence the name bunny run, but postponed due to pandemic. It did not start till 9:30AM and it was a bit toasty. But I did win my age division I finished around 28 minutes but there was a lot of inclines so not bad. The prize was a chocolate trophy and free 1 beer at the brewery. I do not know my exact time because they have not posted the results on line yet. I like to see how far 2nd came in behind me.
QOTD: I never was a fast food person. i would eat fancy like Apple Bee's.
Accountability: Way to much chocolate for this body. The holiday M&M's are getting to me and I found Aldi has their peanut butter cups back on the shelves and they do not have the foil on them so it is a lot easier to grab a handful

Morning everyone, Happy MonYAY!
QOTD - I used to live on fast food. Wasn't picky. When I ate meat, McRibs were my favorite. It grosses me out now to even think about it. UGH
Breakfast - fasting so hot black coffee and water
Lunch - brought soup with vegggies, and a banana/mango/papaya shake with oatmilk and chia seeds
Snack - 1/2 peanut butter sandwich and a nectarine
Dinner - not sure - something pasta, something veggies
Have a great day everyone!

Let it begin with me.

I just looked it up on Wikipedia. The McRib technology was developed by the army, but since the government does not patent things, McDonalds was able to use it.

Mornin' All!
more MIL issues over the weekend that I won't bore you with, other than to say DH had to spend the night there again last night (after taking her to the ER), I wish we'd get a break in this..
I was hoping to go biking today, but we're supposed to get heavy rains later. I'll check to see what it's like outside, though - I'm guessing too humid to ride comfortably, but who knows. If so, I'll do a youtube dance/walking video instead.
weekend was busy - and there's a lot going on this week as well, but that's fine. It'll get my mind off other things (that I said I wouldn't mention...)
QOTD: I haven't been into fast food in a long time, other than the occasional Egg McMuffin when I'm on the road (which is a relatively "safe" fast food item, according to a couple of dietitians I've worked with - both pre- and post-op). However, I used to stop at Einstein's Bagels almost every morning on my way to work when I was pre-op - and sometimes hang out there with my laptop checking email, etc (so...technically working) before rolling into the office. I'd always get a coffee and a bagel with cream cheese. So...that would qualify!
B: pumpkin yogurt with 2 T maple-flavored whipped topping and 2 T granola. Coffee with half & half.
MS: protein shake
L: maybe some frozen microwaveable dish. I know I have some southwestern-flavored chicken quinoa thing in the freezer (among a handful of other choices), so maybe that.
AS: skyr and a skinny bagel with light cream cheese. Apple.
D: maybe some more leftover Indian kidney bean curry, since I need to finish that off pretty soon
have a great day, everyone!
