I'm still here. Reading/commenting daily but not posting much because my menus are the same every day....on plan, but the same.

QOTD: Christmas 100%!! The family even has a Ike not Christmas musi****il November first. No Elf Until thanksgiving!!! Jerks. But it's such a moving/ meaningful holiday for me there's none close.

Mornin' All!

MIL decided that she wanted to go home rather than to a rehab place. They were waiting for a bed to open up somewhere, and she was worried she'd be stuck at the hospital another day or two before something opened, so...she decided to just go home. I think either DH or I will need to be over there 24/7 probably until the end of the week, though - after that she may be OK on her own most of the day (one of us will just stop in for an hour or so to do whatever needs doing). I was over there yesterday until around 7:00 pm, and then DH took over. He's still there. I'll go back over around noon to relieve him.

I'm going to get some biking in this morning, but that's about it for the day. MIL said maybe we can do a jigsaw puzzle today while I'm over there, so there's that..so..not much going on, in other words.

QOTD: Thanksgiving for sure. I wish we'd celebrate Christmas the same way we do Thanksgiving - just having family over for a big meal. We kinda did that last year because we're all over 50 (except for my niece), and no one wants anything - and the stress of trying to come up with gifts for people was getting to be too much.

B: probably just Greek yogurt with fruit. Coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: miso/chickpea sandwich

AS: I'll take a protein bar or protein muffin over to MIL's

D: not really sure. MIL wanted me to make an Indian curry that I made for her a couple of weeks ago, but not sure I'll have time before I go over there. I may ask DH to go back over there around dinner time - the two of them can do take out or eat something from her freezer, and i can come home to get something.
